Site Policy Updated

Sup fuzzies!
FA Site policy has been updated, and there are some ESPECIALLY important rules out there in the new AUP that will affect some of you (e.g. FA Photobucketers).
The new rules have been posted for discussion on the FA Forums under "Fur Affinity Discussion". I highly advise you to check them out, read them, and if you have ANY QUESTIONS please ask us on the forums. As has happened in the past people have speculated as to what the changes mean. Don't be a stupid user. If you have questions... ASK. We will be more than happy to clarify any concerns you may have.
Love,
Dragoneer

I was browsing the site and doing fine until the update hit, when suddenly it feels like a sloth running through a pit of molasses.
Apollo-
I think I might indeed have a question relating to this recent update, but I'm not quite sure I want to make it entirely public, especially since the situation can almost be considered 'done'.
just seems odd
There is finally a specific rule citing them rather than having them fall under the shadow of other rules which, while applicable, weren't meme-focused.
I know it's kinda lazy, but most people won't look for what's different and just go "meh" and not bother reading them.

BTW, I dont mean to do multiple uploads of an image, just as a headsup.. their just to get customer approval's on alterations in the sketches. That doesn't go against the policy, does it? If so, I'll go back and start deleting the older ones (when the update's lag dies down, naturally)

I liked the old style better. It helped me know the titles of pieces and gave me an idea of if a user was still "active"
And the thumbnails kind of upset my mild obsessive compulsiveness x.x Theyre all unevenly sized and just register as clutter in my mind x.x
as an option to change would be great, but forcing us to use it....
if we hated a site we wouldnt go there
*puts bag on head* i'll just shut up now :3
Going straight down looks like it wastes space :D
THATS ALL!
OH and happy 40th anniversary! *runs*
The people that like or are indifferent to this new site design are less inclined to say anything about it, because they're just using it.
All the better reason to be angry about it, I guess.
I personally dont see any practical benefit to what replaced it, since all you had to do was hover over the submission title to see the whole submission (which you still got to do to see a bigger version anyway)
I do understand about missing the date info, but meh, its not a big deal to me at least.
Why is that?
Too much like DA now D:
New layout: uh... I don't get the point of it and it appears like it WILL slow down the site and also is not really awesome for people on slow connections.
A) The name and timestamp were still there to the side of the thumbnail; or
B) They were tabulated in several rows of several columns, like a mini gallery page; or
C) You could set a profile setting to control how your gallery would display to others; or
D) You could set an account setting to control how you would view galleries in general, or at least the ones with no preference set if C was also active.
By the way I don't like the format with the pictures with gallery and favorites. It like having little pictures, but makes longer and it looks weird in some way. Please make this an option, because you have no reason to keep date format then. But with other one it makes you want to see want in the gallery, yet this doesn't and most would take it at face value. Either make this optional in some way, if possible. That my two cents on this.

and honestly, I have no idea why you guyys decided to change the gallery to all thumbnails, it just doesnt work very well and stretches the page A LOT.
id say if it was java-based rollover ( the thumbnails move when mouseovering ), it would have been better..
....I...I...I think I love you...
I remember reading the older submission policy and was wondering whether this was rephrased, or did I just forget reading it?
The changes seem to be reasonable and fair. Are they retroactive? Ie, do you expect people to dig through their galleries now and delete anything that was uploaded before the changes?
I like the changes - especially the stipulations on photos and 3D models.
Because I don't enjoy it, and I would like to have my timestamps back. <3
You don't have to get rid of it, but please.
Make it optional. :)
There is something I was going to mention though about about the new gallery layout, I would ask about it in the thread on the forums but I haven't set up an account there yet. I haven't noticed anyone else mention this yet so it may not really be a problem that's affecting many people.
While looking at my own and some other people's user pages in Internet Explorer the small picture icons hang outside the 'latest submissions' section and cover the link to enter the gallery. I have tried viewing the pages with Firefox too and everything seems to be working fine.
As I said before it's not really much of a problem but I thought it may be worth mentioning.
The whole update looks great though, the new small icons will take a bit of getting used to but it's a nice improvement, a good way to see more of what people have in their galleries whilst still viewing their main user page.
i think they going to find other solutions for this.
hoping they mange too.
As for the rules, I don't even bother checking them. It all comes down to "don't be an asshole" in the end. And those people using the site as a furry version of photobucket should be shot in the groin. =)
Except for maybe the stuff in my watchlist, but it looks like that might be for the better.
Should I really be taking that down? My impression is that it's breakin ze rules, which is not what I want to be doing.
