An Idea Regarding to Requests

Hey, everyone. Joshi here with an idea that I've gotten just now about requests, so I wanna hear your opinions about this.
I know what with everyone here being around here in different timezones, it can be difficult to get a request or something considering they go by PRETTY damn fast, am I right?
So I was thinking with a buddy of mine...what if I made a request raffle or something? Ya know, so that way everyone's got a chance to grab a request.
Here's how it would work, so PLEASE read carefully. This might be long too so grab a snack or something.
- I'll make a journal about the request raffle on say...Monday, and say the raffle will be open in 4-5 days.
- So the raffle opens up on Thursday/Friday. I will make another journal those that want to enter, where everyone will have 24 hours to comment in said journal AND ONLY said journal to enter. If you note me or tell me via Skype or something, then I'm not gonna count it I'm afraid. Once you comment, you're in the raffle.
- Once the 24 hours are up, the raffle will be closed and anyone who didn't get in will have to wait 'til the next raffle (if I decide to do another). Then afterwards, I'll tally up the people who're in and then use RNG to pick 10 people out of that list. The 10 people that get picked will be able to get a request. I'm also picking 10 because, as much as I'd like to draw everyone's requests, I'm only one dude, so you'll have to work with that until I can do more or something. Anyway, if you win, I'll probably note/IM you that you've won ask for what you want.
- I'd also like to mention that since the time frame from the notice journal and the raffle pick journal is like, 6 days, you all have PLENTY of time to think up a request. And a back-up idea or two if I don't go with the first. I'll probably specify the requirements when it happens too, so yeah.
- But Joshi, what about everyone else? And what happens if there's another raffle? Worry not for I've got something for that too. Anyone who's already gotten a request from me from a previous request journal is not allowed to enter the next raffle. They can enter the raffle afterwards though. If you've entered before and haven't won, you still have a chance in the next raffle.
I'm not sure how well this'll go, but I'm just telling ya what I've thought up so far. I think this is as fair as I can be, but I wanna hear your thoughts.
