I don't believe I've seen that particular venue explored just yet...
Perhaps something along the lines of Link joining Adult Midna in the Twilight Realm, and in doing so becoming the same species; her body shifting into an anthro Twili wolfgirl to remain in the twilight realm alongside the queen of twilight?
