Hey all, sorry for being so distant.
I talked to my manager and the owner of the business (who consequentially are now my only co-workers). The owner was on my side about the whole deal and more than willing to help, and thanked me profusely for coming to her first, instead of my hotheaded manager.
When I talked to my manager about the issue, she basically told me that her problem was about my co-worker that quit, even though the letter was clearly addressed to the both of us. I think she was feeling guilty and so the rest of the conversation, she tried to turn it around and make it a hate fest about him. I think I maybe got a sideways apology in there somewhere, but I think I got through to her.
This ridiculous note business is hopefully over with, and I've been told by customers, family members, and even the owner that my manager needs to learn to communicate more effectively (and less rudely).
TL;DR
I'm working at least 40 hours a week now due to the absence of my coworker, hence my inactivity. I'm still finding time for artwork, and I'd like to get my promised adopts out before school starts in a couple weeks here, but it's going to be a bit slow.

Generally, especially in the workplace, I try to be as respectful as I possibly can to avoid situations like this, so I'm still a little sore about how immature of a move that was for a grown woman to pull. She constantly kept leaving us rude and snarky notes, I can just picture her writing them going 'That'll stick it to 'em, I hope they feel bad' and avoiding the confrontation altogether... Which in turn leads to some pretty large misinterpretations, and an all around unhappy workplace.
Seems to have gotten better for the past few days, I hope it stays like that.
I was wondering what had happened after your last post. Glad everything is settled with that. Hopefully they'll bring in back up so you can have more time to rest up
