For everyone else, let me explain.

I'm too scared to do a kickstarter.
I can't handle the possibility of failure on a public and measurable scale like that.
It's not that I don't trust the people that support me, or the quality of the product I put out, it's just...
Look. If I put out a kickstarter or an indiegogo or a fundmydreamsorwatchthemdie.com or whatever, and it doesn't reach its goal? My ego would be GONE, dude. That would be a shadow over the rest of my LIFE and I can't handle that kind of pressure.
After seeing artists on there coming out like "Alright, we just need $40,000 to make our new album because apparently we need to buy a new car to record it in" and seeing them get funded at 200% and 300% of their goal? Phew. If I didnt' reach my $2000 benchmark I'd have to pack up and quit earth.

SO what I AM doing is opening up pre-orders for the new album.
Go here http://lookleft.us/album/transition and put down a little money, and I will use that money to pay to have the CDs made.
It's crowd funding without a central entity or a middle man to go through.

The album is recorded. It's edited. It's ready to go. The artbook is being assembled and everything is set.
What I need help with is paying the overhead of a run of CDs. I need just under $2000 to cover the CDs, the artbooks, and the shipping.
That's 200 preorders at $10 each.
if every one of my watchers threw in $2, I'd be more than covered, so if you can, help me make this happen.

For every $10 EXTRA you pay for the album (it lets you choose your own price)
I will sing one of your tweets. Like, I will sit down with a guitar and write a super short song to 140 characters you wrote.
If you pay $20 extra I'll do two. $30 extra = 3 and so on.

After I get payment I'll respond with an email asking what you'd like me to sing for you.
If you don't have a twitter, we'll figure something out. An FA shout or something.
