So the next chapter isn't TOO hugenormigantically far away now (about 15-20 pages, give or take) so I thought I'd get this out of the way. The next chapter will involve a good few pages inside a village tavern both at the beginning and end, and I could use a few friendly characters to take part :B

GENERAL RULES; No characters that have already appeared. If you have different characters you'd like to submit, though, then by all means. Also, no submitting other people's characters. If you don't personally own the intellectual property rights, I ain't putting them in. If they want the character in, they can submit it themselves.

Foreground Characters:

* 4 slots available - 2 female, 2 any gender.
* ONE SLOT PER ACCOUNT. No bagging all four slots for four of your characters, or bagging one for you and one for a friend, etc. etc - just ain't fair :3
* The two ladies will have brief dialogue (of a lewd nature) - they aren't concubines/hookers, but they are, for the comic, impressed by another character's actions enough to want a bit o' dat.
* The two ladies be implied to be doing the nasty with an upcoming character off-screen (nothing will be shown, just heavily implied.)
* The third is the bartender, and will have more dialogue, including brief interactions with members of the cast.
* The fourth is going to be a prick, will have prick-ish dialogue, and is going to have their ass handed to them in a fatal and bloody manner. I have a character ready for this if nobody wants to get killed in-comic, but I figured I'd offer it for those that do, you weird, weird people you. <3

To apply; send me a NOTE (replies to this journal won't be counted for foreground slots) with an answer to the question below, which slot you're interested in, and a reference of the character. Please note that excessively mythological creatures (i.e. unicorns, pegasi, satyr, etc.) are off the board, (as are characters based on existing IPs like Pokémon or Digimon characters) for reasons of plot, but any standard furry, feathery or scaley race is otherwise fine. Not sure, just ask. We can always tweak it. :3

FOREGROUND QUESTION: Theran mentioned, in an early page, that someone had called him a Resistant before when Kharma bought it up with him. Who was it that Theran said had called him a Resistant?

Background Characters:

* Will not be doing the nasty with characters or getting beat up - just observing and/or displaying appropriate emotional responses to things going on in the comic.
* Any gender/race, but you will be a medieval-ish civilian, not a weapon-toting warrior or supermage or whatever. If you already have a look that suits the setting of the comic, great - if not I'll just medieval-ise the character myself.
* To apply just throw your name in the comments below with a link to a character reference and your interest in a background slot. As with the foreground slots, you can't submit a character that's appeared once before, but you can submit a different character.

ALL SLOTS ARE FIRST COME FIRST SERVED. Foreground slots will be FCFS to the first submission with a correct answer for each slot.
