Change in uploads to PG (Adult art now on Patreon)
Unless it's a commission, I'm uploading all the nudes, erotica, and explicit art to Patreon for my Patrons in a higher resolution than the censored works on FA.
Commissions will still be uploaded at natural resolution without any censoring.
Why? I need the money. Stuff's getting expensive: I can't afford to replace my desktop or Wacom if they stop working - It costs me around $14 a month just to own Photoshop... even a packet of replacement nibs for my Wacom stylus is $15.
Sadly with the price of food, electricity etc. going up I need to generate a little extra, even while taking in commissions.
So I'm putting all the best stuff on Patreon and once I start meeting stretch goals for videos and so on I can start offering a poll on the three or four pictures a week that I'm uploading there to see which one should get promoted to full colour for my patrons exclusive enjoyment*
*Until someone decides to screw it all up by paying in for one month and then posting everything to e621. It's inevitable that someone will figure it's better to post a bunch of pics than pay in to their creation.

Your financial concerns are none of mine nor should be anyone else's.
PARE: https://inkbunny.net/journalview.php?id=143878
You must be very happy in your little libertarian log cabin in the woods then, since without 'financial concerns', you obviously don't care about a job, or money, groceries, ultitlities, or any other basic necessities. Must be blissful being that ignorant.
Now if you were a customer that'd have weight.
If I was paid a penny per watcher per month, I'd care.
If you were even one of the people who took time to comment regularly I'd care.
But who are you to me but someone who just transitioned from lurker to entitled whiner?
you'll probably just vanish into mediocrity hiding everything behind a paywall.
Or we'll start a webcomic so we can sell you a book or original panels or try and persuade you to donate.
Or just upload stuff to FA to get commissions by showing people what we can do. It's advertising.
Do you work for free?
You're reaching for short term gains over long term success. But it's your choice, do what you will.
Now that's a nice pic. I can tell people like it because I've been watching the stats and it's getting a reasonably high number of views and favourites.
Now here's the thing: That's what I'm uploading on FA and what I'm continuing to upload.
So given that it's ahd 150 views, a bunch of favourites and pulled in one extra watcher, even with a Pareon Banner, what makes you think this is going to doom me or FA? It merely means that my callery is going to be full of PG/PG13 art and if anyone wants to see porn they can slip me $1 and get access to everything I uploaded.
Meaning that there will be more art made because it's in my interest to have a larger stash.
So our argument that nobody should be compensated because people who are only here for free pornography won't pay for it indicates you haven't noticed that the web-porn industry makes billions.
THhnk of it as free cheesecake.
But for a modest sum of $15 per char you too can have exactly the picture you really wanted.
Now if more people commissioned me then I wouldn't have to try and find other ways to get paid. But there it is. Prices went up around me and my wages didn't.
I appreciate very much everything any artist chooses to allow me to see.
And if they want or need money for it, I may or may not have it available.
Chances are I won't pay, but sometimes I will, and that's entirely their choice.
Unfortunately for us all, money is life. In this particular sort of thing, all we can do is 1) pay, which is good! or 2) appreciate what we're given without paying.
I choose 1 if I can or want to, and always live by 2.
I wish ya luck with the patreon thingamajig.
But yeah. I don't "like" patreon but lately seeing some of the anger over artists who work hard just trying a new way to get a little support is just...eesh.
If something gives me a total boner I don't mind paying a little for it on occasion. =>.>=
Now if only I could win the lottery and buy it all. >:3 I SHALL PURCHASE AN ARMY OF ARTISTS and they shall animate me 8 straight hours of slick wet gooey dripping....plot! Rrawrrrr.
THen one day you're either Flinthoof getting 8000 views per image, or you're still doing pictures of your Sonic "OC" and bitching because of all these Pokémon and MLP pics flooding the place while you're still drawing the same char int he same pose 1000 times
PS CS 2 can't.
PS is now up to about CS 7 or 8 I think, re-branded as CC - Creative cloud. It costs about $10 a month on subscription, which is pretty reasonable given it used to be just $600 and you'd still pay $300 a year on upgrades.
Now Paint.net is fun and all but you just can't do some of the stuff you can in Photoshop. It's like having a console and going "Yeah this plays games and movies and shit and it's great! No fucking about with software prefs or hardware"
... Until the day you look over from your console which is cranking along at 30fps at 720p and realise that some guy with a PC is running your favourite game at 1080p with higher detail settings than the console has, at 60fp, with HDR lighting and on his version his draw distance is ten times yours... even with way more detail and FX, and he's also got a seconds screen up, with a whole bunch of stuff on it, and he can aim with pinpoint accuracy at twice the speed you can.
But he had to deal with software and hardware and, it probably cost twice as much, minimum.
So I can do some pretty cool wizardry on Paint.net because I've got a whole load of skills I can apply, but give me Photoshop and I will perform Sorcery and you won't ever know how I did it because Paint.net jsut doesn't support whatever I was using.
But I also had to pay per month and buy a Wacom tablet, a bunch of spare nibs, and so on.
That being said, I still want to commission you someday. I think your style would do my rhino or rooyena gals some real justice. <3
And you don't want to end up trying to pay $200 just to see a handful of pics per month...
But as I said: The price of everything went up, and my wages didn't, so I have to do something, and it's better to try and fail than to just go hide under a blanket, even though it's a very nice fluffy blanket.
It's far form ideal but it does give me and everyone else this new option.
Also? I think those pics are probably some of the best I've done lately, clothing or not.
