7/10/14 Bad news... ;
I went to my course interview yesterday and everything seems well and my course should start next monday (yay).
I have applied for help with travel, exam fees, etc. but it looks unlikely i'll get that help so i have to rely on help from you guys for sure now.
I also have some other bad news.
Me and my partner were electronically robbed this week. Our rent, his loan payment , bills for this month, food, petrol money etc. all gone in a single swoop. we're not sure what to do really. we haven't payed rent (due on the 2nd) because of his card being blocked. So he had to take a day off of work to go into his bank (this particular bank isn't open on saturdays) which will costs us a day's pay. We're going through all the paths we can. but this bank isn't great at doing a proper investigation. about 6 months ago we had a similar thing they said they investigated and nothing ever came of it except a new card and ALOT of money missing.
I'm feeling a little over whelmed, if anyone has any suggestions on what to do. let me know please. .

over the past year we've had this happen twice now. we've had our fuel stolen twice, been pick pocketed 2-3 times. and more.
i just.. ergg
so hate people right now.
so i feel like giveing up. i'v worked so hard just to get onto this course, (starting this monday). but now i have no money to get there, no money for rent or electric (i have enough for another day maybe) and the dog's vet bills (being paid off in monthly segments) is ment to come out this week and i dont have all the money for tht even tho i'v emptyed my paypal.
i am a tottal wreck. and i'm having bad thoughts i havnt had in years. so i'm kinda reaching out here. because if i dont i know i'll do somthing stupid.
Please. Help us.

Also, you might want to switch to a bank with fraud protection who'll look at where your money is going and freeze the account if something is wrong or suspicious.
Especially this bit "You will be legally responsible for any unauthorised withdrawals which are made before you tell your bank or building society about losing your card or chequebook. However, this will only be up to a maximum of £50, unless you have acted fraudulently or been negligent.
You will not be liable for any unauthorised withdrawals after you have told your bank or building society, "
Once youve told your bank its their responsibility to sort this shit out and give you your money back. Visit your local Citizens Advice office and theyll help deal with it.

Well first suggestion is get a new bank.
Someone wipes out my bank account once and the bank doesn't refund me the stolen money then that's a bank that can't be trusted.
You shouldn't have to go to the bank in person either - someone scored my bank card number recently and started buying crap on the internet, I called the fraud division, they replaced the card and refunded the stolen funds in just a few days - I use Wells Fargo.
