AUDIO INTERFACE UPGRADE GET!!!
It's been a while but I'm back but good news! I HAVE NEW UPGRADES!
Thanks to my part time job at a computer store called M****C***** I have more of a consistent income where my gig money still pays bills but the part time job helps me buy the things I need and invest into LIKE A CAR AND A PASSPORT (thats a another journal)
Before I had a Behringer XENYX X1222USB since 2010 and it still works but I was always recording with a stereo mix from the USB out instead of having individual mic channels also I couldn't really use it for stem and click tracks because I didn't have enough outputs to route with.
NOW I upgraded to a Focusrite Saffire Pro 40 it's a 20 input, 20 output FireWire/Thunderbolt interface with 8 microphone preamps
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produ.....re_PRO_40.html
NOW I CAN RECORD MY DRUMS FULLY but also pre program stem tracks and send out individual channels to AUX channels to the house mix while routing a click track to my OWN personal mix!
On top of that I found a set of drum mics on music go round at 2AM from Audix called "DP7"
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produ.....nal_Seven.html
I didn't pay $899 for it though because the pack was used but when I got it, it was BARELY USED...mics were still in it's packaging. ONE of the mics in the pack is worth what I paid for the entire package!
Next upgrade is gonna be a electronic sampling drumpad called the "Roland SPD-SX"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0853vg-WviQ Here is a demo of it in action used as both a click track and controller for whatever music program he uses off his Macbook pro.
On top of that I still have money left over for my car savings.
All I need now is mic cables,a rackmount case!
So expect collaborations with
furrypunkrockmassacre,
foxamoore,
rhubarbthebear and other artists :3c
