I am begging you to please consider River's Wish Animal Sanctuary for your charity in 2015. They are licated in North Spokane and have dine so much to help animals in need. They took a cruelty case of 60 extremely neglected and abused horses last year and rehabilitated them for adoption, and only two weeks ago, took in 30 rabbits from equally appalling conditions. They spayed and neutered the buns and have them ready to be adopted.
The sanctuary owners, Kit and Pete Jagoda, are artists who support the right to our creativity as furries and wpuld be honored to be chosen as the charity. RWAS takes in abused animals of all kinds and rehabilitates them for forever families, and are 100% NO KILL, except in the cases where all veterinary options have failed.
I am literally begging you to consider this wonderful place. They spend $12,000 a year on hay alone, and any money RF could raise would go DIRECTLY into the animals' fluffy and feathery pockets. Plus, RF would be helping an organization who supports the arts, which is, as we know, a HUGE part of our fandom.
I'm sorry if this is seen as spam, but I cannot stress enough how important this place is for abused animals.
