Rhode Island Furbowl 32 will be held on Saturday, November 8 at 7 p.m. at East Providence Lanes at 80 Newport Avenue, East Providence, RI. (MAP IS HERE) This is the weekend immediately after Furpocalypse.

There will NOT be a meet at Slater Park earlier in the day. I think the weather is going to have more of a factor in us not holding meets there for the time being.

The cost for bowling is $10 per person. I will collect your money and use it to pay the staff. If you are using a debit card to pay, please bring that to my attention so we can handle that at the front desk. If you wish to use Paypal, please contact me before November 8 so that I can follow up and make arrangements.

This particular meet will mark one full year of us being at East Providence Lanes. We love this alley, and we've gotten no complaints from the staff and I hope we can keep it that way.

That being said, there was one thing at the last furbowl that's happened before and is happening again. There were about 25 attendees, but only four people actually bowled. I understand that you want to socialize, but we can talk, dance, fursuit and play video games anywhere else. The intention of going to a bowling alley is to have people bowl. If there is enough interest, I can look into renting a party space or a hotel ballroom or see if someone is willing host a party themselves.

If you need your privacy when changing into your fursuit, please let me know and you can borrow the main office as a private changing room so you don't have to use the restrooms.

If anyone makes you feel uncomfortable at any meet or if you see something not quite right that would be in violation of the Code of Conduct, please contact me that night. We want to address any issues right then and there. Do not wait until after everyone has left.

I'm going to try to get us out a little earlier than normal this time. The group photoshoot will start at 8:45, and we're going to leave at around 9:30.

Please, please, please RSVP! It's getting ridiculous when people don't say anything and then show up anyway or never say they are not coming.

Ears, tails, collars and fursuits are welcome. A room will be provided as changing space and a break area for fursuiters. Please be aware that this is taking place at the same time as Cosmic Bowling when the lights are dimmed and loud music is being played.

There is a bar at the alley and all standard Rhode Island alcohol consumption laws are in effect. Underage drinking is not allowed and do not buy drinks for those who are underage. If you do drink, please do so in moderation.
