Q- Why are you doing this?
I want to practice and improve my skill. I would eventually love to move on to commissions but don't feel confident enough yet so this is a test run. Although I have done some commissions prior, they were for local/friends so it's different in a sense.
Q- Am I going to get spammed by this account?
Nobody has asked anything like this, but I just want you to know that although you are watching this account you won't be getting a millions notifications from it. I will only post important WIPs, teaser shots, finished projects and the occasional fun picture of a finished suit. Journals will be slots, other raffles (for both my accounts) and personal problems that may affect my work. So even though you are watching me, you wont have to worry about being bombarded by random stuff.
Q- Why is this account so empty?
Again I was planning on this account for commissions but never really got there yet. (I even set up the commissions tab) I will be uploading a bit of older work but not much. My main account (
) has the majority of my stuff.
Q- What are the referrals for?
Each referral counts as a "ticket" for a separate draw. The prize currently will be a custom tail or wing set. This may change over time so keep checking back!
Q- Can I make a journal to advertise this/get referrals?
I need to stress that IS NOT REQUIRED! FA has a thing about journals like this and I'd hate to get shut down or have to restart this. I prefer you NOT due to this but advertise even on other sites or just shout on your friends pages
Q- So I don't get to pick what I want?
Nope! It is in the Terms that this is artistic freedom meaning I get to choose. I will however work closely with the winner for a design we are both happy with! The winner can through suggestions and ideas at me if they so choose.
I will also not be doing copyrighted characters or closed species or Angel Dragons
Q- But you said something about fursonas?
I might choose to make your fursona if it is something I am intrested in. I will discuss the details with the winner about this.
Q- What about shipping?
If it stays as a partial:
Canada: Free
USA & International: I will pay half of the final shipping price.

International shipping the winner pay half (just because it is so more expensive)
But this would just be standard shipping with basic insurance.
I would love do something with horns, Mohawk or big long ears the lay back. So a dragon mix would be fun, or even dragonifying a common species.
As for species, I'd like to try somthing uncommon like a dolphin even. The fin could attach via rare magnets to a shirt? I don't know really. I have so many random doodles and things I'd love to try :D
I was wondering though, since I'd find it considerably less exciting having a suit of a character that doesn't hold any special meaning to me, and I imagine lots of others here would feel the same.
And if people do feel the same or that the draw isn`t for them, they don`t need to enter.
I know some people may want just one of their characters but that`s why I put it in the T.O.S.
Sorry if this comes off rude, but I knew this would come up somewhere.
I wasn't saying I wouldn't be excited, just stating a preference. I don't own a suit at all either, and would still be elated to win. Also, I hadn't really thought about creating a character to match the suit while it's still being made.
Hope I didn't come across as ungrateful.
For me, I like drawing a character while I work on a suit. I think of what they would like, dislike and react to different things and play with the character in my head, right? In the time you would be waiting, you probably end up thinking about the suit, how you would act and what you would do and start to form the character. Even the look during the design phase would make someone start thinking and and give input based on the design.
I'm sure in the waiting period some personality would be waiting to fill the suit. Even if two people were to wear the same suit, the performance would be different. Even if you don't connect personally or emotionally, you can connect or act in a different way than yourself thus becoming a character yourself.
I hope that makes a bit of sense. Also it's hard to properly portray how we feel online so it's all good. I'm just happy you replied as I thought I scared you off ^-^'
And yeah, you're totally right. I must have been really tired not to think of that.
