This is the history page of my fursona, Artemis.

She is technically my second oldest character (predating the anthro incarnations of Romulus) She is also my only female fursona as of 11/11/14.

Artemis started out as a griffon oc back when I was a brony. However, she was not my first character. my first character was a pony, a pegasus named Red. Sadly, as my love for bronydom dwindled as the bronies made the fandom more of a chore than a happy pastime Red did not survive and I think Artemis, being a griffon, came about as a subconscious way of me beginning to distance myself away from the bronies before leaving altogether.

As Red dwindled Artemis took his mantle. She was essentially me in the mlp world as Lyle is to the furry fandom, a main representation of me. Here is a headshot: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/13509630/

Artemis got her origins and concept on a pony forum I used to frequent but she didn't take solid form until I joined FimFiction a few years later. Artemis started out as a way me and my now ex-girlfriend (an old girlfriend not to be confused with  boothewolf ) could rp as girffons. She had made a griffon oc before Artemis and we wanted to do griffon rps. Strangely enough I still use the name of her male griffon oc as the name of Artemis' mate, Verity Preensdale.

Anyway, Artemis really took form when I began to write a Fallout: Equestria sidefic, Fallout Equestria and The Number Station. I would detail the story but it is trivial at this point but I will say Fallout: Equestria is still the best story I've ever read, even though I've renounced the brony fandom in entirety.

But as you could imagine the bronies made writing turn from an enjoyable pastime to a hellish uphill battle and as time went on and so little to show for my effort my drive for writing pony fiction dwindled until nothing remained. Even today I personally know Number Station as my greatest failure because I had invested so much personally and emotionally in it to only to have it explode in my face in the very end. But I did meet  sebastian1998 on FimFiction so in the end some good did come of it.

Once Number Station was dead and finally buried I kind of left Artemis alone because I was sick at heart of the brony fandom. Only a few months ago did I feel that somewhere Artemis' heart still beat. So now I've resurrected her as an anthro griffon and rewrote her story a bit but still retained her and Verity.

EDIT 12/27/14 - I've changed Artemis' family. She does not have a daughter named Adonis.
