Constant Submission Timeouts Affecting Watch Lists?
Sooo.. while I hesitate a bit to bring up anything related to the robustness of FA's code, after wondering this for several weeks/a month and a bit, and seeing other starting to ask..
Is it possible that submission notifications are not getting populated to all followers' submission pages? Every single time I upload, the site times out, and I have noticed that when the upload page times out within a few seconds, that picture gets a tiny fraction of the amount of views/comments I typically get, on average. The longer it takes until the page times out, the more views that picture gets.
I've noticed that this applies pretty consistently across the board, regardless of the level of finish (or explicitness) of the picture in question. I've also noticed that several other artists who typically get ridiculously high views have lately been getting sporadic, significantly lower views than a few months ago.
ANYWAY. I was just curious if other people had noticed this, and if this is actually a potential issue? Or did I forget to take off my tin-foil hat again? ;p

If you use https:// rather than http:// when you post, it might circumvent that new layer. I haven't tried this yet myself, but I hear it works.
God, I could really use a bowl of (small-r) ramen right now.
Something's broken. Not sure what or how, but it's getting more and more obvious that something broke.
And no notice of, "Hey guys, shit's slow because we're doing a thing/a bad thing happened!" Just.. horrible, unusable service and silence instead :\ I feel bad being so publicly vocal, as I've tried to keep these opinions to myself for the most part.. but man, if it isn't frustrating that not only has there been no appreciable improvement, but I believe the site is performing drastically worse at an increasing rate.
I just want to share art and look at art .______.
