oh my gosh! lol well being someone who is interested but hasn't even started yet of trying to make a fursuit these are helpful still :) Heck even if i don't make one it never hurts to learn

I agree! I spent months reading every single thing I could find on building fursuits before I really attempted my first, and it helped a lot being able to draw from such a varied set of techniques.

ahh, these are so wonderful, thank you! i'm itching to try out the new DTD tutorial (my current DTD is ~10lbs and 4 waist-inches old) and i'm unbelievably excited to learn that arctic fox fur comes in (a few) colors other than ivory and black! i received a half yard of ivory earlier this year as a mistake and it was the best mistake ever; i wish it came in even more colors so i could use it more exclusively!

I know that fursuitsupplies.com's luxury fox is very similar (if not the same) kind of fur as Arctic fox, and occasionally they do custom runs for colors otherwise unavailable! I'll be using the rust I got through their preorder on Beaus as well.

that's where i get most of my DF and where my initial ivory arctic fox came from! i'd been meaning to get my hands on some of the rust for whenever i remake my collie mutt-- is it roughly the same texture as regular arctic fox furs?
