Well, it's that time again! The previous submissions are being carefully sorted by our team of experts, (actually, it's just Dreamsong... but for the sake of argument, we'll pretend... ;D ) And this week's show is being daintily put-together for airing this coming Friday! (*hammer... hammer... wedge... grind...... scrrrrraaaaappe... clannnng!!!!*)

So it's time once again to open submissions for the next show!


(NOTE: I'd like to plan for next week's submissions -- the week of Dec. 8th - 14th (to be aired on 19,Dec.) -- to be our Winter Holiday show... so if you've got Christmas, Hanukkah, Yuletide, Solstice, Kwanza, or other Winter Holiday songs or ideas for songs to submit, you might want to save them for submitting next week! :D )

Just a reminder that in order to be in the spotlight, there has to be a section of your song long enough to showcase that is PG rated!

*And be sure to let us know how to pronounce your name if you've got a unique one!*


Please keep in mind that we do not necessarily select the BEST piece, simply the piece to be Spotlighted. Sometimes the pieces are professional quality, and sometimes it's a first, low-quality recording. Don't be hurt if you think a song that is "inferior" to yours is spotlighted. We are all musicians, and all deserve recognition for our talents!

Remember, submitting your song on this page doesn't mean it will be spotlighted, it means we promise to look at it and consider it for the show. We still browse the music submitted over the past week, though we don't have time to listen to every one submitted. Posting your song on this journal guarantees we give it a listen. It does not, however, get priority over other songs that are not posted here!

Songs MUST be hosted on FA to be considered. If only a portion of your song is on FA, it must be clear, no advertisement to listen to it another place in the audio, and long enough to spotlight.

We want to focus on songs uploaded this week. If needed we will reach back as far as 2 weeks. There seems to be confusion on this. If it is over a week old on the day this journal is posted, it will NOT be considered for the Spotlight!

And don't forget, this isn't a contest! It's a Spotlight!
