Figured i'd slap this up here. tis the season and stuff. most of my things aren't physical, but just things i really want. and for once i'm not in terrible need of money, thanks to all the lovely people who commissioned me in my cyber monday sale! if anyone wants to be super awesome and grant a physical thing, i will be incredibly grateful and will provide an address via email if needed <3 and of course, be sure to check out the wishlists of others at the bottom ^_^

~Step 1~ Your wishlist
Make a post in your journal containing your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple to really big. The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want. If you wish for real-life things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where folks could get in touch with you.

~Step 2~ Give Back
Surf around other lists to see who has posted their list. If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream for free--do it. You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call. There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special

~Step 3~ The List
1. i really want to be able to be home at my mom's for christmas, even if it's just for christmas day. this is my number one wish, and wholly relies on work conveniently not scheduling me on the 26th and someone giving me a ride back. otherwise i'll be stuck alone in my apartment in a city i've only been in for 3 months...
~~2. love for this lady over here --> synthariadesire whether it be arts or her own wishlist items if she makes one. she's been going through some really tough times and needs love <3~~
~~3. to buy gifts for everyone on my list. i'm really bad at choosing what to buy x.x~~
4. arts of my characters. can be from someone i'm watching or from you! i love giftarts!
5. time to draw for myself/for others. there are a lot of people around here that i'd love to draw giftart for
6. new copies of mariokart doubledash (gamecube) and LoZ:OoT (preferably N64, but i have a gamecube, too) because mine vanished o.o
7. for nothing terrible to happen in my life or the lives of my loved ones. or really, anyone's lives. let's have a happy holiday season, shall we
8. gift cards to places like barnes&noble (i work there and have to buy lunch there most days. plus, i love books), wegmans (supermarket, always important), and victoria's secret (i have no excuse for this one)
9. i'd REALLY like it to be warm in my room. i'm freezing. my windows let in terrible drafts and it won't get warm. we need to find a good/cheap way to seal them
~~10. one more time, i'd love to be home for christmas, and not only in my dreams...~~

Good cheap seal, depending on the scale of the gaps, could be anything from Duct Tape to Newspaper. Pretty? No. Cheap? Yes. Spent an entire winter with one of my windows missing completely (it had smashed when I went to close it, not pleasant) and the heat retention actually felt better. Piece of Cardboard > Crumpled up Newspaper > Piece of Cardboard > Garbage Bag (Exterior, for weather), all held in place with duct tape. I'd be a dirty liar if I said it looked pretty. But it definitely did the trick for stopping the gap and keeping the cold out.

welp. i have duct tape and trash bags, so we'll see how it goes x.x i'm not sure where the gaps are or how big they are, i can just definitely feel a draft, and i have to be careful what i stick to the walls/frame since we're under lease. but i'm certainly going to try things x.x

Might want to see if they sell any sort of insulating tape at your local hardware store too. Lease+Duct Tape does sound like risky business.

Have creeper go to home depot with you. They have window insulation kits for less than $5 and they really to work a good bit. They're clear too in case you still want light in your room. Its super simple, you just use the tape provided and blow dry around the edges. And you can take it off come spring or keep it on and hope it helps keep the heat out.

he got something like that, but it refused to stay stuck to our windows x.x i dunno why, he got all frustrated. so i think i'm just going to to said home depot and buy big thick sheets of clear plastic and begin with the duct-taping madness XD

they don't have to be like new in the wrapping new, nope. just new to me cuz mine poofed (i swear they're in my mom's house somewhere, but they weren't with the rest of my games and we looked everywhere, so....no idea. up and vanished, two of my favorite games v.v). i do try to keep all my games in their cases though.

but yes, thank you! i'll add your list now and i hope you get the things you want, especially the ability to move out. i know how that goes x.x

Hahahah thats even harder, cause i've allready paid for the plane ticket home and have little else that i want right now, i mean i'm gonna have to move within a year and have to more or less live like a nomad for the next five years... unless i get hitched but that seems unlikely XD

I'd love to get the MLP book: The Elements of Harmony or the 3DS games Pokemon Art Academy or Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance (I've been having a rough few weeks thanks to my dad being sick and all-I take care of him thanks to his Alzheimer's so I hope I get at least a couple more of my wishes granted, even if it's a DVD under $10 ^ ^;;;)
