Emergency Money situation, Please Read
(I made this same journal on my nummynumz account. So please check that out if you like vore!)
So for quite some time I have been doing my best to get as much of my current queue done as possible. At this time I only have three remaining images to complete, one of which is very close to being done. I didn't want to accept more work until all of my queue was finished entirely. However....a situation has arisen that is forcing me to accept more work, plead for ideas, and re-open paypal orders of all my art packs. (Which you can find info here http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/6327998/)
I still live at home with my folks, and every day I am trying to do what I can to find a way to move out. While most of the time they are fair, and I love them dearly....there is one particular 'head of the household' who continues to make things difficult for me. He controls the internet, how much access I have to it, and could care less that it is where the majority of my income comes from.
He has passed a new rule in this house, mainly thanks to a rebellious younger sister who is mooching off everyone, that if you have ANY debts owed to the family you will not have any internet access period until all debts are paid off. Originally I was assured that the money I borrowed from them to have my own car could be taken care of at a later date when I am more financially secure. HOWEVER that has been completely tossed aside.
I owe my folks $750. I somehow need to find a way to raise that before the end of this year and pay it off in full....or no more internet or commissions for me. Unless I drove out of town to my cousins to use his internet. I want to make sure I still have the ability to use the internet. This is incredibly unjust, and it infuriates me to no end....but I have no choice in the matter. So I will be constantly slaving away, doing everything I can to raise the money needed. Balancing art and my seasonal job. Unfortunately, it does not give me a lot of hours where I work, so I cannot rely on it.
About commissions now
I am trying to think of a quick way to raise money in time to pay this all off. On top of not just what I owe my folks, I also have all my usual monthly bills that need to be taken care of...and prepare for next months as well. So a lot of money needs to be raised in such a short amount of time....
I am considering in stream commissions. Where I work front to back on an entire piece of art, but you need to be present. I simply cannot take the time now to give out work in progress shots to commissioners since some folk take quite a bit to respond....severely slowing progress. If you DON'T need wips on your commissions, I can prolly still take your work without being in stream....but I think in stream commissions would work the smoothest and quickest.
While I am heavily considering a lot of different sketch options for vore work on my nummynumz account, I am still struggling to think what would be a good thing to offer here. In the past I have done colored sketches in stream, but sometimes those were hit or miss. I can still do those of course, but it all depends on how well the idea is received and how many people can make it to my in stream commissions.
I do have a fancy new webpage that lists all of my prices now, including some cleaned crisp sketches: http://tartiicommissions.weebly.com/prices.html
Again another thought is just taking regular commissions in stream, but they will be exhausting to work through. But I don't have much choice. I kind of want to just stick to doing sketches, but I don't know how well that could do.
Doing YCH's have been suggested, but those are still a risk. Sometimes you can make a good amount, other times not. I also struggle for ideas on what would be a good YCH to offer...
I was also doing several traditional sketches I was mailing out to folks, but now I'm not sure how much more I can take.....if I even can. My copic marker I mainly use for shading these sketches is already running dry?? It doesn't shade as darkly as it did, and I worry I won't be able to do many more pieces. I also need to pick up more shipping stuff.
If you have ANY ideas at all of what I could offer, pleeeaase let me know! It is thoroughly appreciated. @n@

As for commission ideas - one that worked out well for AzuraTheFox was a multiple character YCH that was a simple paw-lovers type pic. He had a macro version of himself and folks bought slots with their characters just snuggling up to his footpaws or to him. Simple, non-yiffy pic. Ideas like that tend to sell pretty well, and you can get $20 to $50 per slot, depending on the bids. If you like, I can also mention this in the paw-mail I'm releasing tomorrow morning for extra exposure.
I will post any ideas I am able to come across, I hope you find financial relief sooner than later!
I honestly still have no idea when I get paid (I didn't want to ask lol) and how big my first and second paychecks will be, but after I see what mine own situation with money is after a couple of 'em I'll hit you up on Skype/Twitter about something, perhaps, if you'd like.
I would say that for stream commissions, simpler things only probably. Sketches, lineart, and colored sketches. I haven't watched you work much but these probably wouldn't take you super long to do? I'm not sure :c
I really hope you can plow through this soon, cause this is dumb to have to go through :c
Stream commissions are always pretty good, especially if you can churn them out at a decent clip. It's a good way to get repeat business.
Good luck girl, you can do this!!
Whatever the case, hope it works out. x:
so that way its quick for you, and easy for people to help out with.
ahh, so many people scraping for money right now, this month is scary @A@ i hope you make enough in time ;n;
