As you may or may not know, the logo for our furry group, a parody of the RI state flag, was created almost five years ago. In May 2013, I finally made flag badges for people to wear.

I am proposing to have an actual custom-made 2-by-3-foot flag created with our logo and ready in time for Anthro New England in late February. It could be used for group photos, conventions, parades or any other place where we are visible.

There is a local company that can make this, but of course, we have to pay for it. Since this is the group's flag, I feel that it would be best to have people choose to donate at at least $5 per person to help offset most of the cost. You can either pass along money directly to me at any local furmeets and furbowls or send it to my PayPal account with the address CirrusSkyDragon{at}aim.com. I expect to have the deadline be the first week of February so that the company has enough time to make and then mail the flag to me.

I have yet to come up with rules for borrowing the flag, but I'm thinking of establishing a security deposit. More details will come later.
