Alagrete are Extraterrestrial species from a different universe. They are dark in appearance and often lurk in darkened areas. Alagrete have four legs that they tuck in when in darkness and they push their legs up, causing them to spring at potential prey and try to find a orifice to push themselves into. They have superior sight; switching from Heat vision to night vision. They have a hard time in light situations and will be blinded temporarily and stunned by the shine of the light for a few seconds before blindly scrambling off to darkness and regenerate their sight. They hardly ever travel in groups, unless they need to take down a large prey (One parasite can take down anything horse sized or under). Usually it takes two to take down a elephant. Alagrete are small and have three segments of body: Head, thorax, and secondary thorax. The secondary thorax acts much like a abdomen, holding fluids in it. These fluids connects to it's legs to a vein like system. The fluid transported to the legs of this parasite can be: Deadly, paralytic, numbing, cause slight headaches, cause amnesia for just that moment, or highly toxic (Which will slowly kill the prey as they do whatever they wish inside of them). These When it comes down to the point where they can't get into a orifice.. THEY MAKE ONE. When coming in contact with a Alagrete, it's best to get a nearby person shine a light on it. When it latches onto you or a partner, you make sure it has a light source on it's eyes so it stays stunned and unable to move into clawing it's way into you or the partner. These parasites can be tamed and be kept as a pet.
