New game on the way, and your creations can be featured in it!!!
A brand new monster hunter game is coming your way for the PSP, Xbox 360 and PC and we are opening the doors for YOUR creative input!!!
There are currently 200 slots open for monsters of all diffrent shapes, sizes, colours, and elemental affinities.
We are looking for softer, but stylized monsters (think Pocket Monsters "Pokemon"), preferably not humanoid
(the end product looking like a vaguely human form wearing a skintight super-hero costume is a no-no),
we are also attempting to avoid over-patterned or robotic designs and aiming for an organic look.
Evolutionary forms are also welcome!
Please provide an image of your monster concept/s with a brief description of any elemental affinities, racial background/information, and capabilities of your monster race
Any artists who donate usable designs will be featured as NPCs wielding thier creations in the game, thier name featured in the 'thank you' credit roll and bonus items at the release of the game!!!

He's a mutant dragon named D-Lightning (A.k.a. Iam Wills.)
Here is mine (but has shirt and pants)... http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1382218/
I'll soon make it without any clothes because of what you mentionned, and a good dungeon background. And with more of a beast pose. His main element is lightning witch I think is more like fire, and wind elements, and from these elements he can also breathe ice & fire.
(My story spoiler) Also the story behind my character is that each time he travels from one dimension to another, his shape changes, but he still has his main elemental abilities.
P.S. I also have another form of my creature, if you would like to see: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2010084
P.P.S. Even if I donate my story character, it won't do any difference to my story line.
But I can announce it will have a similar kind of morality sliding scale to the Fable series, and many at this point, possibly ALL actions taken after programing has gotten a bit deeper in, will effect the way people will see, and react to you!!!
Essentially changing a Bijoumons' Elemental Affinity would be like changing a Pokemons' type. For instance (using Pokemon as an example), having a water and plant Charmander would make no sense, just as having a pig the size of a hump-back whale with dragonfly wings and eight eyes would be some kind of genetic nightmare. Now obviously those are some out there examples but if that were to happen in a game it could cause an error that would potentially corrupt the files themselves.
......I might be able to use that pig in the game.... >slaps a big C in a circle on the porcine mammoth, calls in a crane and drives off with a new idea< lol.
Still, send us your origional idea and we can see what we can do with it. We could give it both EAs but it wouldn't have access to abilities tied to the secondary EA untill a higher level.
1. For the time when the game will be finnished or earlier then that.
Will you give a certain code to the one who created the monster so they can get their created monster at the beginning of the game?
2. As I see Xbox 360, psp, pc. Is the game 3D?
3. My friends at home want to add to the Image Preview question: "Will there be a possibility that you can show at least 5 monsters all together?" (My friends also add: "To see if the game style of the monsters are great before we want to add their own monsters")
#2 No it will be in 2D, if the game is successful we may add a 3D counterpart at a later date.
#3 Definatly understandable, we are currently working on the images so I will make surean image containing multiple Bijoumon is made and loaded.
Reply to #2. It is always great to start simple, and then level it up after a certain time.
Reply to #3. My friends and I are exited to know.
I am guessing you want the designs rather compact/bulky then if your thinking of pocketmonster quality?
The PsP has no size limit on the Homebrew games exept for the size of the memory card carried in the PsP and needless to say a computer has no size limit for games of any type.
So, all of these factors have made it easier and much more exiting to make a Homebrew game and push it to it's completion........ Sorry for the text wall, lol.
#2 I'm not sure what you mean by 'compact/bulky'
If nothing else we will be having multiple expansions and downloadable updates fairly frequently after it's release, so anything that is submitted after the initial gates are closed can still be used in the future!
We want to release a finished product, but make future updates easy to implement, in stead of how many companies are working these days where they will release an unfinished game to make a deadline and simply post "updates" that should have been there in the first place. :D
