Edit 3:The slots are closed. My surgery went well and I'm all recovered. :) I'm working through the commissions now, and hope to have them all finished by the end of April (I had to still finish up my prior commissions list before I could really do a lot of these. So, I started a little later on them then I wanted.). You can check the list at the bottom of the journal for my progress. :) Thank you all again!

Hey everyone. I apologize for the following wall of text, but I'm in serious need of your help.
The Problem
Since I was a child, my parents knew that I had a severe jaw problem. The dentist told them I have a really bad open bite and that it would wear my back teeth considerably if I did not have the surgery. They never had the money to be able to afford such surgery, nor did I ever complain (other than wondering why I ate out of the side of my mouth when growing up cause my front teeth do not touch to be able to tear). So, years down the road, my back molars have taken a beating. They chip and break from any hard, crunchy food (which I avoid like the plague), and have been repeatedly repaired with fillings. I also grit my teeth at night which has also worsened the problem. But the damage has been done and the decay is now to the point where my health is in jeopardy. (Can develop into heart and brain disease.)
Why have I not gotten the surgery sooner? All because of the cost due the day of surgery. I do work a full-time job, but it just barely covers my living expenses. I also have student loan debt which, since I began taking commissions, I've managed to make some payments towards that. But nothing is left over. I'm lucky if I can save $500 in my savings. Trying to come up with the price for my surgery is another mountain all together.
What I need.
My surgery is scheduled for Feb 19th. One month from now. I will be having my 4 impacted wisdom teeth removed, as well as the 4 rear molars. The total cost is $4200. My dental insurance only covers $2000. So, I am left with needing $2200 in one month.
Where else can I get money?
My parents, like back in the 90s, still can not afford to help me pay for this surgery. However, I was able to take out a care credit card but only recieved $800. My dad is trying to help finance further, but even if he takes a card out in his name, I will still be paying all of it before the interest goes to 26%.
What I'm offering:
I'm opening up slots for single character, clean or tasteful nude, full-body characters for a discounted $40. This is for only 1 character as I can do these the fastest. You may ordwr multiple characters, but they will be individual images.

Unfortunetly, these extractions are not the end of my dental surgeries. I will eventually need:
- Jaw Surgery
- Spacers for top and bottom of mouth
- Possible partials or implants of extracted molars
- Braces
But right now it is critical to my health to have the decaying, infected, teeth removed.
TLDR:

i love your coloring like holy crap. xD
Chances are you're going to go in for four or more separate surgeries. If you can, request they numb the bottom and the top on the side you're getting done. It may cost a little more, but if the surgery goes longer than planned at least you will not be sitting there feeling everything they do.
Second, go-gurt. Great stuff for eating for the days after surgery, since it requires very little jaw movement and no suction.
Third, don't remove the bottom layer of gauze, just whatever's above it.
4th, they will probably give you vikodin or some other high end pain killer. This goes without saying but if you take any other medications, bring them with you in order to ask if there will be any medical conflicts. Speaking from experience, sudden drops in blood pressure are NOT fun.
I'd love to get a slot, but I will not be able to pay until the end of the week. Are these limited to a set number? :3
