Very tempting but I don't have Paypal. Really don't want to get it either. I've heard of several people I know being cheated by them in some way or another.

...Really? I've had Paypal for years and never had a problem. They're very convenient.

Eh...the problem is once you make a payment through PayPal, you can later submit a complaint that you never received the item you paid for EVEN IF YOU DID and PayPal will refund you your money without bothering to do any sort of investigation.


There was a well known problem a few years back with this, where one individual would commission artists, then after getting his art would submit a complaint ticket to Paypal and get his money back. He did this several times before word got out and artists were warned not to accept his commission.

I've never had issues.. but I suppose it does happen =/

The one that really keeps me away is a good friend telling me he got hacked through them, lost a large ammount of money and was lucky to get anything back from Paypal. What he got back was mostly through his bank and the credit card company his bank has a deal with to work their debit cards. Paypal should have reimbursed him cuz it happened through their system and on their watch. That tells me Paypal is not very reliable when things go wrong.
