Since the last update, things have been rather hellish for me.
TL:DR
My lease ended without me being able to find a place because a good friend got very ill and I didn't have the time to look for a new one. I've been without my own home for over two months.
I loaned my car to a friend for 9 months so that they could get to work and not lose their job, and they 'forgot' to do any maintenance on it so now it's broken and neither they nor I have money for repair or replacement. I am now completely without a form of transportation.
I gave my bicycle to another friend to fix for me, with all the tools, supplies and even an instructional manual on how to fix anything on a bicycle. A year later, I have my bicycle back, but it's no closer to fixed than what it was when I handed it over.
I found a new place to live and have had my application approved to move in, but to be able to get into it, I'll have to pay hundreds of dollars that I don't have.
My grandmother died last month, and to make a long story short, things are only worse between the individual members of our family now that she's gone.
I slipped on the ice last week and hurt my back something awful, and it's still not better.
It's incredibly expensive to be homeless, especially when a person is disabled like I am who has very little money to start with.
I need some pretty serious dental work done, and my medical insurance doesn't cover dental.
I've been trying to stream and offer commissions to earn more funds so that I can reach my short-term and long-term goals, but even though I've been improving dramatically with my art and the speed of it, I'm still not getting as many watches, commissions, or visitors to my stream as what could possibly earn me enough funds to do what I need to do on the short time schedule that I have to work with.
If I had more watchers and paying commissioners, I'd be a lot closer to my goals, but that isn't happening yet. I have faith in the fandom though, and I know that as I keep improving, I will eventually earn enough through my various forms of art to live on, and even build my dream of helping others more via real and tangible means.
I wish I wasn't needing the help, I really do, and I honestly wish that I was earning enough to not have to ask.
* Please note that as a disabled person, I receive a small stipend per month from the government to help with expenses. This is not enough to pay my bills and help me save to move into a place of my own or get my car repaired, even though I do not spend on extravagances like cable TV. I do not do drugs. Any help will assuredly go towards my actual needs as listed above. I do get food stamps enough to eat on if I make nearly everything from scratch at home, which is very common for me to do. I do get Medicaid for medical expenses, but this does not cover dental, nor does it cover several of my prescriptions that I need to have filled each month.
Thank you to everyone who has offered to help me locate assistance orgs in my area. Fortunately, I already know where nearly all of these are, moreso even than official listings of said aide centers, as I am often the person that folks come to when they need help.

You also should be able to file for health insurance there as well. Best if luck to you and I hope it helps!
I get both food stamps and medicaid because of my disability, but the medical coverage doesn't cover several of my prescriptions, nor do they cover dental, which I also need, but forgot to put into the journal. The local free clinic that does medical and dental both won't see me because medicaid is technically a form of insurance, and they only serve the uninsured, not the underinsured.
My mother taught me that no matter how little you have, someone else has less, so you should always help those tho are worse off than yourself when you have anything to spare. If it were food help that I needed, I know where all of the food banks in the area are, but I prefer not to use them unless absolutely necessary because I think they should be helping people who don't get any other form of help.
