Tho I must admit-- Having your full name dropped is both embarrassing and awkward. Especially if you're pulling the whole 'Daft Punk' kinda deal where you want your identity to remain kind of secret. =/

Not to mention the missed opportunities w/ sales and the like.

Nothing was readable. I gave up with the ads. Tried twice.

I saw your note send to the email regarding advertising and address that. I did not see your threat until later, and a threat was completely unnecessary.

The threat was only intended to be carried out if I hadn't gotten a response in 1-2 days. like I said, nothing personal, just don't like my money being toyed around with

Alot of people are going through this long wait. They really should put an actual timeframe that best represents the wait time. 2-3 weeks, not days.

Good thing I'm more active on DeviantArt and Tumblr. It's so much easier to get my name out on those sites.

I really don't know from what does it depends Dragoneer's response and I'm not saying that I'm defending him or something from what happened here, but I just wanted to say to you and others that I haven't got any problems with my Ad.

I sent a letter that I want to put up an ad on saturday. I got response on the 3rd business day just as they stated that they the reply can take up to 3 business days and my Ad was putted on FA the next day and I got an email from Dragoneer that the Ad is up. I went through the page with a few refreshes to see is it really up and saw my Ad. So, they did good job with mine and everything was in time just as they said. ^^

Also, when I had a question about an icon thingy I sent a tweet to Dragoneer on twitter and got replied quickly. (Maybe in a hour or less? I don't remember now exactly)

Maybe I'm just lucky lol. I don't know. :D

Do ads generally bring in a lot of traffic? I have an adblocker on my computer, so I don't even see them at all unless I'm browsing on my phone.

Honestly I'm not even surprised. If there was a way to get the user base of this site to all switch over to another site at once, I'd never look back. The people are the only reason I stay.

that's awful :/ i've gotten adspace twice now and both times it's been amazingly helpful and ive never had a problem with it. but this sounds so frustrating!! did you get a full refund? I hope you did.. this site is very unprofessional, but i can guarantee if this was deviantart and you had a problem with it you'd never get a response. at least here the admins are semi-active..
