Café Plaisir: The Management

Oooh! What's new today? So I've had this or a similar question asked by a couple of people recently, so I thought I'd get out a proper response and a bit of background canon. If you're interested in making your own works within Plaisir and want them to follow many of the current stories, or you're just that curious about the universe, this should be of use to you :3
In many of the Plaisir stories, there are a number of higher-ups at the Café, many of which don't just sit around in offices. No, this place encourages very paws-on work, as it were, from everyone. Here are a few of the decision-makers in the den of iniquity we know as Plaisir:
NOTE: What follows is a very outdated look at only a handful of the management. Read on if you want, but know that a fair bit of this may not be accurate anymore :P
Jack (Typhlosion): Bartender, the one that knows everything.

Almost always seen behind the counter at the Café's main bar, Jack the Typhlosion is friendly, confident, and always willing to chat and welcome customers. He doesn't run the Café, but it's near enough to it! If you have any problems or need to make a request, or even just need information, Jack is the one to go to.
Not only that, but Jack has the uncanny trait of seeming to know everything that's going on, so don't be surprised at that wink and a smirk after the secret fling you just had in the broom closet.
Firenze (Ninetales): General Supervisor, Organiser.

Often seen waiting tables, Firenze is a paragon of politeness and a true gentleman. The large Ninetales manages the entertainment and events at the Café, including clubs, booking performances, handling new staff and dealing with large parties. He started working at the cafe about three years ago, as a waiter. His top priority is the ongoing success of the Café, especially to ensure the happiness of waiters and customers alike.
Pouncer (Grovyle): Morning Shift Supervisor (6am-2pm)

When all the Waiters and customers of the Café are sleeping off nights of vice, Pouncer has just woken up, ready to direct the morning staff and get the Café back to its pristine condition. Firm but fair, he's the one that makes sure those stains get out of the carpet, the broken bedframes are all repaired, and the coffee is always topped up.
Clarice (Glaceon): H/PR (Human/Pokémon Resources)

Sometimes, HR can present itself as the friend of the employee, always there to mediate disputes and present fair judgements to all in a non-biased manner. Clarice, however, has decided to drop that façade in the pursuit of doing what needs to be done. When someone needs disciplined, investigated, or just plain fired, Clarice is the one to do it. Many may not like her methods - but they ensure that the Café keeps running.
Coco (Vulpix): H/PR (Human/Pokémon Resources)

There's a saying in Plaisir - "Coco hires, Clarice fires". This little Pokémon is the light side to Clarice's dark - when someone has a problem, its her they can always go to for a bit of comfort. She handles a lot of the admin at the Café, sorting out paperwork and employee accounts in an effort to keep the Café smooth.
Omen (Absol): Weather Forecaster
Creator/Owner: DarkViolet
The weather is often fickle, and can determine the flow of customers in and out of the Café. Will there be storms which will influence people to spend the night, or will there be bright sunshine to welcome swathes of new arrivals? Will the forests and gardens be safe to spend the night in?
Attuned to nature, Omen's job as the weather forecaster is more important than it may appear. While shi never waits tables or appears on the Menu, shi enjoys hir quiet, carefree life at the Café. Omen has been a part of Plaisir from when it was first built, and the rest of the management hold hir as an old friend and valued contributor.
Cheryl (Lopunny): Front Desk
Creator/Owner: DarkViolet
Every establishment has someone almost too eager to work there, and that's Cheryl. A true stereotype of her species, the hyperactive Lopunny is there to greet every newcomer to Plaisir in an enthusiastic manner than none can come close to - even if she does scare away more people with it than she draws in!
Minka (Gardevoir): Front Desk Security
Creator/Owner: DarkViolet
A silent bouncer, Minka is keen to let the hanging implication of what she could do speak louder than anything she could say. She remains by the front desk, and watches all coming and going for any signs of trouble. She's rarely had to actually use her abilities, but what she has done has left her with a level of respect around the staff.
Boora (Goodra): Nurse

With an establishment this size, and especially one catering to intimate times with some rather powerful beasts, there's bound to be one or two injuries here and there. Nurse Boora runs the Café's sick room and advises on medical matters. When you’ve suffered something that a painkiller won’t fix, Nurse Boora will see what she can do with her own variety of concoctions, able to recuperate anyone from most rough nights.
[Unnamed Noivern]: Dungeon Master.
Creator/Owner: DarkViolet
The Dungeon is the Café's underground BDSM club, with stone floors, low light, and shackles on the walls. This Noivern is always seen whenever it's open for business, and keeps a watchful eye over whatever goes on, insisting on safe, sane, consensual fun for all parties.

A side note here is that your works don't need to follow this strictly! If you want to do a version of Plaisir without any of these characters, you can! The world is open for your use with whatever plotlines you want to throw at it.

As for Dark Pulse, it's the Café's nightclub, which was seen in Ravage's chapter. I admit, I realise I haven't actually posted anything about it for the longest time! I'll see what I can do to change that...
and the name Dark Pulse is fitting for a nightclub, so I guess the head of the club controls its finance, or does he/she do other things?
