Not only did the tablet fall off my desk and all but snap the usb connector during tonight's stream, it looks like it shorted out my laptop's usb slots, so even if I got a new tablet i have nothing to plug it into.
No I can't afford anything new
No I can't take commission slots cus I already owe stuff
No there won't be any art out of me for the foreseeable future
Gonna go cry now

Rule of thumb if you are looking for the best bang for the buck is: PC will always offer the better value IF the fact that it's not portable like a laptop is not important. PLUS, and that might be the most important thing: You can customize your PC like you want. While you are pretty much can't customize a laptop at all.
I am so sorry that happened to you...
Do you know a friend who can open up the laptop to fix the usbs?

^That's the best I can do. Hope I can send ya something soon.
you maybe lost your tablet but you still have your skill ^^
you have pencil or something ?
If so you could add a USB card to it for cheap.

It might be a relatively simple connection problem that you could get fixed at a pc store for cheap.
Another option that you can easily do yourself is to install one of these or these. If it comes with a driver CD, DO NOT use it, that's for older Win9x systems and will make USB stop working on newer WinNT-based systems. I actually own both of these cards, and they work pretty well, plus they mount flush so you can leave them in all the time without them getting caught on anything.
As for the tablet, if the cord or connector is damaged, it shouldn't be too hard to get a USB cable or extension and cut off the non-computer side, and either solder (or have someone else solder) it on in place of the original cable.
