Oh, irony of ironies! Here I am, slaving away on the Internet, posting oh-so-many quality cartoons for your amusement and which one gets the attention? The shitty half-assed furry comic that I throw together to pander to the coveted pervert demographic!*
Anyway, apparently one of my readers must also be a Pharyngula poster, because someone alerted P.Z. Myers to the fact that I made fun of his site posters in my latest comics. Myers seems to have taken the whole thing in stride, posting about it here: http://scienceblogs.com/pharyngula/.....ing_mocked.php

So, anyway, Myers seems amused by the whole thing, but his fans...well! They are most assuredly NOT. Well, some of them take the whole thing in the joking spirit it was intended, but others launch immediately into INTERNET BUTTHURT MODE, as the kids say these days, and go on about how I'm obviously a fundamentalist stooge or something. But in general, they seem like decent folk who can take a joke, so bully for that.
And a big welcome to any Pharyngulians who're reading this now!

I read a few posts by PZ Myers on his blog, he seems less obnoxious and boring than Dawkins, but maybe that's only a superficial impression (and maybe I'm biased because I like cephalopods too)
But the two words go well together, look them up on Google!

I don't know if that's sarcasm or if he's being serious. I really hope it's the former.
Meh. Of course they aren't gonna be giving you bunches of roses and hugs, they are a proud race. It's good that you somehow hit the right nerve to bring them down a few notches.
Seems okay for the most part though here's the favorite moments of USI(unwarranted self importance):
1. It probably comes over as self-congratulatory to the deluded and demented when rational people argue amongst themselves.
There's a reason that scientists or for that matter anyone with the tiniest bit of knowledge,or at least a desire to learn gets mocked and accused of having their noses up in certain parts of the world(Im not saying the O-word...)
2. It's called self-confidence.
Have you considered that the environment here might discourage those lacking in that attribute, and thereby select for those that don't?
Anyway, I grant it might be difficult for some to distinguish between others being confident and being pleased with themselves.
