Since it has been far too long since the group has received any sort of new artwork submissions, TCG is calling upon our group's members to give the group a much needed makeover in the form of a new icon and profile ID. So, in order to give the group a fresh new spring look, TCG is holding a group wide art contest!
Rules:
1) Be a member of TheCraftersGuild - old or new.
2) All artwork/photos must be original to the artist submitting it. Collaborations are allowed.
3) Any art or crafting medium is allowed! All skill levels can participate!
4) Sizes: Finished animated or static icons much fit within the FA icon size dimensions which is 100x100.
Finished profile ID artwork maximum size dimensions for FA is 1280x1280.
5) Rating: G to PG - family friendly.
6) Ideally incorporates the group name "TheCraftersGuild" or "TCG" with the essence of what makes springtime special to you.
8) Artists can create either a profile ID or an icon or make one of both! Limit one submission per category per username.
9) Artists will be responsible for writing a short description about their submission and what mediums were used.
10) Deadline for submissions is Sunday, April 5th at midnight EST. The winner(s) will be announced by Monday, April 6th.
Prizes:
Two winners will be chosen by the TCG group mods - one for icon and one for profile ID. Winning artwork will be submitted as the group's new icon and profile ID. The winners will also receive their username and a promotional link (of the winner's choice) that will be featured in the group's profile page. Who does not love free advertising?!
The promotional link can be a choice of: current commission prices journal or submission, the artist's business website, or a personal website (EX. convention, blog, youtube channel, charity, or animal shelter). All links must be safe for work (SFW) - as in no nudity or adult content.
As a special bonus: All contest submissions will be submitted in the group's gallery with full artistic credit for their respective work (as long as the the rules listed above are followed).
How to enter: Just post "Happy Springtime!" (without the quotes) at the bottom of this journal, to indicate that you are interested in participating. When your icon/artwork is finished, just reply to your last comment on the journal with your submission link.
The link does not need to be on FA, but must be publicly viewable. If an artist does not have an account on FA (or is more active on another furry art site or social media), please provide a link back to his/her account on another art/furry/publicly viewable website.
Possible ideas include:
* Springtime Images: Spring Showers, Flowers Budding and Blooming, Baby Animals, Spring Cleaning, etc.
* Themes: Spring, Easter, New Life, Brand New Beginnings, Rebirth, Springtime Folklore or Wisdom, etc.
* Inspirational phrases or images about crafting and/or creating new things
* -or- be creative and come up with a unique idea of your own!
