The High Line is an elevated freight train line transformed into a public park, it is a very interesting sight to behold especially now since the weather is finally getting warm. In the past we have explored what this great city has had to offer and I think the high line is something a lot of people haven't seen yet. On top of that there's a lot of other great places I'd be willing to share with you guys as well. Now there will be a lot of walking involved, but if you wear comfortable shoes I'm sure you wont even notice.

So I figured we start with the High Line which is close to a mile walk, then I'd take you to 14th st. to this really great pizza place called Rocky's, before transitioning over to the village to visit the big gay ice cream shop. From there we can cut through Washington sq. park, making our way towards Union Sq. where they have a pretty cool comic shop known as Forbidden Planet, then finally end things over at St. Marks Place where they have plenty of great shops to check out but, most noteworthy of all would be the Barcade. The Barcade hosts lots of old school video game cabinets as well beer and plenty of finger food to keep your stomachs content. Of course you have 21 and over to enjoy that, but since it'll be the final stop, those who are younger will still have plenty to enjoy on the way there.

We'll meet up at 2PM at 30th st. and 10th Ave over by the park's entrance. We'll probably hang around for 20 minutes waiting for any late comers before going inside. I suspect we'll probably arrive at the Barcade around 8, and at that time people can either go their separate ways or feel free to stick around.
