I'm officially alive again!!! Moved to the Gold Coast
10 years ago
OMG. I finally have a room to myself for the first time in a month and a half. You have no idea how much this pleases me.. or maybe if you're a fellow introvert you do XD
I can't believe I survived a month and a half of sharing a room with 6 people (most of the time random people I didn't know). GOODBYE HOSTEL LIFE. It's been real >.>
So yeah, I have found a house with a private room for myself. It's a very quiet house, just the way I like it. I had to go through around 7-10 inspections to find this one.
I've also found a job at a pizza place (lol I thought I had finally escaped the pizza life as I've been living it for 7 and a half years but NOPE apparently not :T I had to take it cause jobs are apparently super hard to find right now).
The bad news is I have injured my foot. From walking around for several hours a day with non-supportive shoes, seeking employment, I'm sure.. there's no other explanation. I can barely walk, I've rented crutches from a pharmacy, so I might be out of work for weeks if it doesn't start feeling better. I might lose my job, I don't know. Or they might let me come to work on crutches. I'm hoping so. :\ But I don't want to add a safety hazard for my coworkers. So idk what is going to happen. I can only hope for the best. It's messed up that I've finally got everything in order and right away I become immobilized. I'm trying not to gripe too much about it but it's hard for me to not stress about this. I go insane when I don't work. Working only 15 hours a week has already been driving me mad as is. I'm a workaholic.. sitting on my ass and twiddling my thumbs all day? I am not about that life.
With that said, I'm going to open commissions soon but I'm going to make badges for FurDU a priority, along with people who have already been on my waitlist since before I moved overseas.
To my several hundred new watchers I've gotten in the past month and a half, hi! I should stop being so quiet now XD

Oh and I'm looking for a housemate... Quiet area, just me and the dog. Plus I work shifts so it's like I'm never here!
Well hmm! When I move there I think I ought to find employment first, then a place nearby seeing as I have to use public transport (that's what I ended up doing here; I initially tried to do it the opposite way and I would have royally screwed myself if I had gone through with it). Although I hear public transport there is much better than here in GC. But all that is so far in the future for me to plan it out yet. But if you're still looking whenever I come there, I'll keep you in mind! :)
There's not to much wrong with Queenslanders, they're just a little slow... Hit me up when you're coming down to Melbourne
