A Peek Into My Mind. Be Afraid.
I did a rough portfolio construction of four stocks, assuming $10,000 worth bought on 1/20/2009.
Sturm, Ruger & Co.; Harley Davidson; Brown-Forman, and RCI Hospitality. In other words, a portfolio based on guns, motorcycles, booze and strippers.
The portfolio today, not accounting for dividends, would be worth $149,309, an increase of 373.36%.
While I haven't seen what the DJIA has done during that time, I still find this interesting.

Harley-Davidson 389.18%
Brown-Forman 177.66%
RCI Hospitality 158.00%
So yes, Sturm, Ruger & Co. is the standout in that portfolio. 1/20/2009 was the start date of the portfolio.
I need to talk to the benefits lady at work and see if she can shift some of my investments...
