I think that your art would benefit from coloring at this point. You clearly have a handle on anatomy and basic design, the next step is consistently challenging yourself to color and shade those images that you've already created. And unfortunately (unfortunate in most artists' point of view anyway, ha) it might be time to start developing your backgrounds to help them contribute to your story. When an artist starts building backgrounds and puts their characters in a whole world instead of just floating in an abyss, people start sitting up and taking them more seriously, you know? You can do so much with just shadows and background color and clutter when it comes to storytelling.

And I definitely recommend continuing to build up the content of your gallery. You've got a solid beginning and there's definitely a lot of talent here.

Thanks for the well put insight! You're right about adding backgrounds, it would improve my skills immensely. Perhaps I'll let my watchers decide when I put up some examples in my scraps folder.
