Falling apart.
WELL... Jeez.. Why can't myself or my family or my dog catch a break?
Always with the bad luck.
We had to take Sam (female black lab, 7 years old) into the vet today to have a cyst on the back of her tail cleaned out today for the second time in as many years. It was upgraded to cystic tumor (tennis ball sized), and now we have a consult Wednesday with a surgeon to see if she needs to have her tail amputated to fix the issue, otherwise she could suffer severe infection and end up in worse health. I don't know how I'm going to pay for this. Her visit today alone cost nearly $200, the consult is going to be another $180, and who knows how much the surgery will cost if she has to have it.
Mom's car went out the other day, front wheels stopped working while we were all in it, stopped dead. We were nearly hit in the rear.. Luckily the guy behind us had really good breaks. However, nobody seems to know wtf happened or why. Auto shop wants it in, but we've no money to pay for it. We're down to one car, thankfully dad's still works. (Yes I live with them because I cannot afford to be anywhere else.)
I now owe my grandmother money. She's in a nursing home. The money from the current batch of icons will have to go to pay her back. I have a few other things coming in thankfully, but not nearly enough. I'm basically broke as shit.
-Crawls under my bed and curls into a ball of stress and aggravation.-
I still have a $544 dollar medical bill from lab work, and a $75 dollar bill from my doctor's office, neither of them are covered by my insurance because they're before the starting date.
Bill collectors keep demanding money from me. They're gunna get paid in pocket lint.
One brighter note is that my new glasses lenses should be in tomorrow.... Maybe my eyes can finally stop twitching, or maybe not. It could be caused by stress. Who knows.
What I do know is that any thought of possibly ever getting a new computer is shot. If this one dies, I'm pretty much screwed.
(Thank you all for your wishes of good luck and happy things for the future. Special thank you to a few people for helping me out greatly. It will not be forgotten!)

As for the twitching eyes are definitely from stress =) Ive got it before and it disappeared when adopting a less stressful attitude in dealing with problems.
I hope your doggy gets better and you a happier life

Hope everything turns out. It might be cheaper in the long run to just have the surgery vs. Repeated Vet visits.
I'm unsure what advice to give about your dog, as vets are much less flexible in their means of payment. You can always look into the option of pet insurance. Or you can say screw the consult and go for amputating the tail. If it's a tumor, it'll probably just keep coming back even if it's removed. I had that happen in one of my dear ratties. The tumor was removed only to have another one form in its place. Unfortunately, amputation was impossible due to the fact that it was under her arm pit.
As for the hospital, you can talk to the financial dept and get a more manageable payment plan put together, because a big lump payment like that is much too great of a burden. Even if it's $100/mo, that's still more do-able. You'd have that paid off in about 6 months then!
You can always make a post on
As for the consult, its with the surgeon. Something has to be done about it, but we're not sure weather they can remove the thing without removing her tail, or just going ahead and removing the tail to a very short stub. She has a few of them elsewhere on her body, but they're very tiny. Not worrisome at this point. The one that is on her tail is the size of a tennis ball. It causes her a lot of pain. :/
Either way, the consult will be to determine our next step with someone who knows what they're doing.
Hopefully I'll be able to get financial aid for the medical bills, but I don't know if they will even pay the $544 dollar lab bill. It should NOT have cost that much for a damn blood test. -_-
Even at the hospital it only costs $200 for the same tests.
I'm hoping everything will work itself out, as I can't possibly take on any more commissions than what I have out right now.
Anyway, look for brighter days ahead, okay?
Tow truck brought it to the house. Dad cranked it up on the jack. The wheels spun with minimal effort. They turned, they moved from side to side. Nothing seemed off. Nothing looked broken when dad took the wheels off. Breaks seemed fine. Calipers seemed fine. Lines weren't leaking, they were all fine. Axle was fine, nothing seemed to be broken or seemed like it would have caused any trouble at all.
Car didn't die out. Electrical worked fine the whole time.
No problem lights were on at any point.
Brake lights did not come on at time of car stopping. It just stopped.
Basically, when the brake pedal is off, any pressure in the system goes back to the reservoir. If the pedal is not well adjusted or the return hole in the master cylinder is clogged, the pads will not go all the way back and as they slowly heat they will press harder heating more and more until wheels lock with brakes steaming.
When they cool down, liquid contracts and car magically works fine again.
Also, please keep in mind, if you guys ever need any emergency plumbing done; give me a call. I can be over same day to get you guys fixed up. I do not need any form of compensation. You and
Also thank you for the of the computer. I will let you know somehow if it ever comes to that. My comp is running a tad better since I found some things to remove, but Photoshop and my tablet still seem to be using quite a bit of my ram. I'll just have to watch my activity rate when those are going.
I hope that things turn around for your though.
Not long ago I was in a constant rough spot and recently things became better all at once..I can only hope that will happen to you.
If I find a way I can help I will. I look up to you a lot as a fellow artist and that you're just an all around good person. I wish you luck and some good news.
