Immediate Emergency Surgery ~
Alright, so Samantha (Black Lab, 7 years old) is in the veterinary hospital for immediate emergency surgery to amputate her tail. Her condition took a rapid turn for the worse, even with strong antibiotics. Her tail turned septic overnight.
It was either remove the tail, or lose her.
The cost of this surgery will be $3,000 usd. I don't have it.
If anyone wishes to donate anything they possibly can, i'd be immensely grateful, and so would Sam.

If you're donating, please just tag whatever you send with (To Save Sam.)
If you want, you can include your FA name, and I will put your name on a list to include in a large thank you image that I will be drawing. If you don't wish to include that, then you can donate anonymously.
They can't remove all of the infected tail, so she's going to need extremely heavy antibiotics and a very watchful eye to make sure that the wound heals properly. If it has any complications it could break open again and she could have to go in for another, minor surgery in the future that might include a skin graft. I don't know yet at this time. We will see. Hopefully they will heal properly and everything will be ok.
I don't normally ask for donations or handouts, but at this point I have no choice in the matter. The surgeon must be paid.
For those wondering about her current condition~
She was already in surgery by the time this was posted. It was either take immediate action or risk losing her to infection.
UPDATE -- March 17 - The surgery has gone well, she pulled through well and is recovering. She will be kept overnight to make sure that there are no immediate complications, and that the drains are working properly.
UPDATE -- March 18 - Sam's back home. She's sleepy and isn't feeling well, and on heavy medication. Tail nub looks good right now. Is draining some, but not as much as it was last night according to the doctor.
She has an appointment with the vet tomorrow to make sure everything is going good. That was included in cost of surgery, as is drain tube removal and healing progress checkups.

But just...damn, that's a wincer D:
Would have been a tenth of that price if we waited another 4 hours. The cost of emergency vet care is ridiculous, but sometimes the only option that you have >_<
Good luck either way. I'll see what I can send when I get home. I definitely know the anxiety and worry this can cause. I'm so sorry :(
I hope more people help you out, and soon!! :(
if i was there, and had a tank of Halothane or Enflurane, i'd do it for you myself.
I'd try reaching out to fursuiters and see if you can exchange materials for time and hold an auction suit slot or something for her to draw enough money and interest.
Maybe speak with some animal rights groups etc?
I hope all goes well v.v
