Let me be clear.

I am not leaving the site, as I need it to do business, and I am here for my friends and the users of FA. I will be posting news via my journal and updates on my projects.

But as far as supporting the site with personal art, do not expect to see anything from me here.

This is due to many issues, this just being the last straw.

Many of these issues lie around their business practices which disgust me. Quite honestly, I've had enough.

The old "Where freedom of expression reigns" tagline only worked when the expressions could be rendered in ASCII...

There's way too much history to go into, but the current situation isn't any great surprise knowing much of that.

From what I've seen, IMVU has not at all been handed the right to steal our stuff. They've been given the right to use only stuff that actually belongs to the site, not the site's users.

Says the person who is under an nda to not talk about the deal's specifics at all and is now an employee of the company that owns the site?
If thats the case i have a bridge i need to sell, are you interested?

You founded the site and on the very day its known publicly as sold you leave. I know your not calling it leaving, but you have removed your content which in a way is still leaving. Thats a red flag to me. And its sad to see this happen, but I do understand, this is all very bizarre. *hug* :<

Alkora has a very high tolerance threshold, IMO, given the number of Dragoneer's promises that were thrown out of the window as soon as the deal had been done, many years ago (despite ostensibly being part of that deal).

Its quite frustrating to be the object of ridicule for what is a legitimate concern, so I will say I cannot blame you and screw the cheerleaders. This is bunk and you gotta do what you gotta do. Our images will be out of our hands if we stay and we cannot stand idly by.
