One of my best FA friends stopped posting art on here because of extremely harsh criticism with her art. I don't want to see another person stop posting art just because of the site.

I'm still posting art on all of the other sites I use.

I don't think you get it. we(the users) are FA. if we don't upload art then this site doesn't get bigger or better. if all of our art goes to other sites those other sites get bigger and better. the goal here is to show the FA administration that they can't treat us(the users) like shit and expect us to take it.

That won't work. There will always be people who posts art. We can though post protest art if they see enough then maybe it will hit them.

Um no. That's not good if you're forcing people into abandoning ship to go to something else. If you see a problem you find a way to fix it, not abandon ship and forget about it.

The reason why I don't leave FA is because that FA was the first art site that I joined. Besides there are so many series I have yet to finish.

yes, they do. they bought the site from Dragoneer, he's now employed by IMVU to run Furaffinity. what did you think this controversy was about?

at the bottom of the page of every page on FA it use to say "Fur Affinity is © Ferrox Art LLC"

now it says "Fur Affinity is © 2015 IMVU"

It's on the FAQ that FA is runned independently from IMVU. Let's stop this conversation, this is getting nowhere.

1) Why Sell to IMVU?
IMVU's offer and their genuine desire to leave Fur Affinity as a completely independent group is what convinced me that this was the right thing to do. They offered us a budget and financial assistance to improve the site, while still leaving us independently run.

Not so. FA is independent from IMVU so if he gets fired what ever kind of contracts that he has with them will be terminated.

that isn't how that works. IMVU completely owns FA. if he gets fired they still own FA and at which point they can do whatever they want with it.

What part of it runs independently from IMVU do you not understand? IMVU does not have the power to modify FA, only to advertise and sponsor it.

because I don't give a fuck about Weasyl. it's no better than FA. I'm quite content with SoFurry.

The community is much more friendly, you can organize your submissions in folders there, there is a section where you can place a banner just like Sofurry, there is a specially designed section where you can submit refs (and specific information) for characters in case someone wants to draw your characters but needs quick access to ref sheets, journals have a rating system (just labeling what all the site has to offer), there is even a section in the messages that tell you when a artist is streaming that way you wont have to go digging in your journal messages. That's all I've found on what the site has to offer, although there could be more stuff on there that I haven't discovered yet.

SoFurry does all of those things and more. I don't give a fuck about weasyl.
