Hefty is an alpha hyena, but let herself get involved in a bet about relative intelligence that ended with her going to law school and finding herself relishing the intensity, savagery, and money that resulted. With few other ranking hyenas around, she sought out other species of ferocious note, and found her long-standing boyfriend, who can give her a satisfying run for her physical needs, coping especially well with her rather traditional high-testosterone anatomy.
Suit
A hyaena in a suit would probably bring the word 'lawyer' to mind, if the suit in question weren't a bright yellow zoot suit. It's hardly the most practical thing for chasing down prey, and the obvious inference is that this hyena, just shy of six foot tall, has a more urban lifestyle.
She foregoes the polished leather shoes, but her shirt is buttoned all the way up, and the tie starts with a nice fat knot and ends tucked into the high waistline (emphasised by her almost cartoonishly short legs). Her hat has the requisite ear holes on either side of the brim, and there's a courtesy sleeve behind for her knee-length tail.
While she doesn't customarily cackle as hyenas are popularly supposed to do, she does wear a broad grin on her muzzle, and a modest few golden rings on her fingers, a nice contrast to her brown fur.
Shorts
Hyaenas are chunky, powerful beasts, and at just shy of six feet this one fits the stereotype pretty well: her earth brown fur dappled with roughly formed, darker spots; her legs shorter than her arms, and with a fairly long neck. Her coat is, however, a little too carefully groomed for a rural type, with a nice glossy sheen to it, so despite her scant apparel you could probably expect to meet her in a supermarket rather than on the plains.
Her bust, throat, and belly are pale, the counter-shading present as with most animals, and the ridge of fur running along her back is dark. Her shoulders are wide, a contrast to her slightly ridiculous shortness of leg.
Although she's decided that her bust is small enough to get away without covering up, her lycra jogging shorts tip a nod to the idea of modesty - while making it fairly clear that she follows the physiological traditions of her quadrupedal cousins.
