Can I live with you for a while?

I was not originally going to ask or anything but, the landlord here at the apartments I am staying at gave my grandmother some unexpected charges for ambiguous reasons and we are faced with a gamble to live or be homeless.
Its either we wait for a check from IRS, which I hope comes soon, or on Saturday we are to be gone and have a place.
I ask you, any of you who live in Sacramento of California if I can temporarily stay a few months until Sonia, my girlfriend, can come out to take me into her home.
Is anyone willing to let me stay with them for a bit?
I WILL get a job too.
I understand if not a single person can do it.
