I'll keep it brief. I don't like the sidebar thing either, and I use Adblock. Doesnt stop the sidebar from taking up a chunk of my viewing space. I've got a fix, though, courtesy of Boothale

Plugged it in, works for me.
Now, anyone who's reading this that has any say in the site layout, bring with up with the IMVU peeps and see if you can put the sidebar back where it was and put the ad in there. As long as it's out of the way of the submitted image. This is an art site after all, and distracting from the art is a cardinal no-no. It should help take the heat off you guys. Hopefully this is a good learning experience for IMVU.

I'm out. I tangled with IMVU years ago and it ended poorly, looks like they're doing the usual thing here. Nobody seems to be mentioning that it disabled handy browser tools like FA Extender and such.
it looks super unprofessional and is killing me inside because i DONT want to turn on Ad Blocker for fa (because as an artist, i support the other artists with their ads)

Or maybe you're lucky enough to have a 5000x4000 ++ screen resolution so as not to notice the difference? :)
Just tried the resolution and everything. Um, are you SURE you're subscribed to the correct filters under Adblock?
Well, the fix above has kicked the new sidebar down below the submission again, so I'm OK for now. I guess I might be poking around in the internals come round two, though.
But I did hear the change had been removed. Apparently, it was added, then removed, all while I was away at work. Sounds good.
