about the species
they're called necrolumes
they're bio-luminescent creatures, their drool/blood/bodily fluids glow at all times along with their freckles, eyes, and claws.
necrolumes are forces of nature, in most cases. they have attributes that tie them to some form of nature.
they're believed to be deities by human standards.
the females usually have darker skin colors and light colored hair while males have the opposite.
they don't always have to be drooling, but their salivary glands produce their glowing saliva at a much faster rate than humans/animals
they're pretty small in stature, the shortest a female can be is 4'5" and the tallest being 5'3". the males are much larger/taller, shortest being 6'0" and tallest being 7'0".
more rare/legendary necrolumes are rumored to be even larger, from 10' to as large as planets. again, that large of necrolumes usually only appear in legendary types.
the males horns are much longer than the females. they are also more aggressive.
they have long and massively large claws but they are able to move them very lithely. their claws are their main weapon/defense.
some necrolumes, depending on the type, can spit toxic saliva as an offense.
sometimes they have symbols on their stomachs and sometimes they have a large bleeding tear.
it is canon that most necrolumes like dark cold places (hence why they are bioluminescent) but this does not need to apply to all necrolumes!
this species IS able to reproduce. that info is a work in progress.
rarity does not include single attributes. rarity depends on how many necrolumes have these traits. rare can range from no stomach tear/symbol, to four arms, to a third eye. ultra-rare necrolumes often have more that one rare attribute and are uncommon. ultra-rare can range from a stomach mouth, to many glowing markings on their body, and anything else you can think of. they don't have many restraints.

- CLOSED species, you may not make your own based off of these without permission!
- if you buy one PLEASE credit me! say if someone asks where your cool character came from, point them in my direction!
- minor alterations can be made! as in hair length/hairstyle and adding clothing. anything else please ask first. i'm very lenient.
- reselling is ok! but please read these rules:
if you resell your necrolume and it has no art, just the original image, you may only sell it for how much it was purchased for.
if it has art that you have purchased with real money, feel free to resell based on the necrolume price as well as the additional art added onto that price.
if you received the necrolume as a gift or it was traded to you, you may then only trade it. it wouldn't be fair to sell something that you got for free!
if you bought the necrolume for fake money (gaia gold), you MAY NOT resell it. trading and gifting is still okay.
if your necrolume was a MYO, you may resell it at the base price you paid to me, as well as any other additional art tacked on.
- trading/gifting is totally okay!! i don't need to know the new owner. i don't really care.
- it is absolutely NOT OKAY for ANYONE to edit the original image.
-i do not do refunds BUT like i said, if you are not happy with your necro i will certainly do my best to make you happy.


customs information
there are a few things to know before you order your custom:
flat price for regular necrolumes is $15
ALWAYS give credit to me!
i will not remove the freckles, eliminate the drool, or change the size of the arms (unless they are rare/ultra-rare). these are all things that make my species unique! (unless they are ultra-rare or legendary, which are very uncommon for me to make)
i can however, add things to their abdomens or add minor clothing as well as more appendages
RARE customs ascend in price depending on rarities
when ordering a rare, depending on the traits you have picked out, i will quote you on how rare (ranging from rare to ultra-rare) your necrolume is and how much it will cost you
i will not make accommodations to you if request a hold on a certain attribute. ex: you want a custom with a stomach mouth and four eyes, and request that nobody else can have these attributes together.
i will not do this unless i am bribed an insane amount of money. and i mean insane.
if you see necrolumes that have attributes that seem illegal or don't make sense, they're more than likely a close friend of mine, and they have full right to make necrolumes as they wish.
anything else PLEASE ask!
