I really enjoyed working on the raffle piece and I am itching to do more...so I am opening up commissions. Just a few limited slots to start, I don't want to take on more than I can chew. These more painterly pieces I've been doing recently take more time, and since they take a lot of time I'd like to able to choose the characters I draw. I don't like being so picky but I tend to work better when I am really excited by the character. As usual I am giving a discount because I am being picky.

Also, I'd just like to say...a while ago (maybe a year or so) another artist posted a similar journal to this and ended up not picking any offered characters (at least, this artist hadn't yet done so by the time I saw the journal) and when they made a comment stating that they were keeping the journal open because the characters they had seen so far weren't what they had in mind, a lot of people got very offended and were saying things about how the artist was insulting their characters etc. I really really hope that won't be the case here :( I've had some truly beautiful characters linked in my art journals whom I LOVED but just didn't want to draw for some reason or another right at that moment. So please, just because I don't choose your character, doesn't mean I don't like them. Maybe I'm burned out on catgirls, or the color blue, or I don't want to tackle wings, or whatever (these are all random examples). I really don't know WHAT I am looking for, just something fun to work on.
