this needs to be known, please help.

This honestly one of the harder things I have had to write down. Normally I have something well thought out or thought provoking to say. But this time I simply don’t have anything better to work with. You see, at the current time of writing, I have decided that the FA system needs a bit of a change in the way message; be it notes, submissions, comments, journals, watches, favorites, and the like; are presented to us. And I don’t so much mean the way they look as a whole, but rather the functionality of them as a whole.
This is an issue that I have been getting a lot of and I know a large number of people have ben too. Where if it is just one form of any kind of message being updated I simply won’t be able to see it when I am on my phone or other “mobile” platform I have with me. This is when it really starts to suck since it could be hours or even days before I get a different of message to where it will show up as a click able button for me to check. By then it may already be too late to respond to it because it’s sat there for far too long being unchecked, if only because I couldn’t find a way to check it. This makes me have to memorize URLs to the main messaging system and stick that in my favorites just to see if I have any.
This is not the way it should be, and I remember a time when it wasn’t this way. But now we have to live with it as if they just can’t figure out how to fix it or revert that one segment so that it looks the same throughout all parts, showing everything and making sure we know when we do or do not have messages. This would especially be very bad if I were in an Admin position, causing a back flow of a large sum of tickets because I simply couldn’t see them. It makes everything more difficult to work with. And if this was intentionally made so that it wouldn’t cause slowdown in the servers, then the only thing I can say is to ask for donations. I know it has been done in the past, but if it’s really that bad off, then it’s time for upgrades.
The fact is that FA is being used more and more by the day, people trying to turn it into face book because of something no one can quantifiably answer, and FA admins don’t seem to mind this. be it good or bad is up to interpretation, but what is known as a bad thing is that the messaging system seems to be broken because less and less people are seeing the messages when they aren’t on a “desktop” environment. And if we really are going to push for a facebook like use of the site, then we would need to be actively updated on what messages come in and when.
I know that it’s hard work to get something like that done in one’s free time. But if there is no opposition to the site to be used just as facebook is, then me writing this as thought out as possible would be the best possible response to a system that seems a bit broken in terms of messages being passed back and forth; is the best response that I could make. But if there is opposition to this, then it must be so extremely hard to follow through with or it just isn’t even being worked on because the site’s used as such as increased by far too much to ignore. And the response would be a pouring out cry for changes that was never supposed to be, and no one realizing or caring about it until the rule against this sort of use are enforced.
Yes, the site is getting bigger, and more staff is needed, and voluntary staff members would likely be a plus (not saying that anyone gets paid because I bloody well don’t know, but I am certain that they do not) because this means that if people react like entitled babies, then the response they get is completely justified.
And before I am endlessly harassed by people not reading this, you should already know that if you see a problem and ignore it, the problem only gets worse and you become part of that problem. Same goes for seeing it and calling the problem a non-issue when it has the ability to only become a bigger issue. This means that the only way to solve an issue is to either actively seeks out its solution or make it known that there is a problem so that someone else can help. If you don’t do your part it can only get worse. Because if you don’t care about any of the site’s problems and don’t want to be part of its solution then you just really don’t care about it at all; because if you care about something, you want its success and you want to help fix its problems. And if the problems are caused by a lack of awareness, then it’s time to spread the word and make the issue known.
(The purposes of the quotation marks are there because both environments can be mimicked to varying degrees, but the system still treats them as if mobile is mobile, and desktop is desktop. And switching back and forth browser side is completely pointless. Making the need to solve the issue we face unsolvable user side.)

but either way. the point of this journal is more or less to get people talking about it.. the more that talk about it, the bigger amount of attention it will get, the sooner the issue is fixed...
the fact is that if you care about this site you will want it to prosper and succeed. I do and that's an issue that needs to be fixed.
I may prefer skype over most because it works well with move things i have, and and its more instant. but some people prefer to chat over FA, hence the constant relation to facebook.
yes its hard work for something like this to be made, but that fact is that if it doesn't work right if at all, theirs going to be people bitching about it. and if you don't care about something like this, then its just allowing the problem to get worse.
