Please read my terms of service before approaching me for a commission!
Commission status, prices, and offerings can be found here
. Hey guys! Just wanting to make a few points here - got some fairly important news here, and wanted to weigh in on a couple of things.
FIRST, I am STILL OPEN for commissions, and I would REALLY like to take on a few more. I had a few people on my reservation list back out, so I can still take three more commissions at this point. And on that note, there's a commission I'd really like to try, if anyone is interested. I have always had something of an interest in seeing people do age regression pictures, and it's something I've never tried drawing myself. I would LOVE to have someone commission me for an age regression piece, and since it would be an experimental commission (i.e. something I haven't done before), I will discount the commission cost to $20 if someone is interested. If you want to take advantage of this, please comment here or note me :)
This kind of shoe-horns into the second piece of news: I'm losing about a third of my hours at work over the summer, so I am really going to be counting on commissions to make up the shortfall. This means I should have more time to work on art and have faster turnaround, but it also means that I need help - it means I'm counting on you guys. I should have more commissions available than I have in recent months. But - as much as I hate to ask - I really need signal boost from anyone who's willing. Word-of-mouth is such a bit factor in this fandom, and while you - my watchers - have made me much more successful on this site than I ever believed I would be, I'm always aspiring to reach higher. And for that, I need your help. I'm so blessed to have so many people supporting me, and I'm both grateful for that and humbled by it - I would not be able to do the things I do if it weren't for you guys.
And finally, the Eurofurence thing. Many of you have probably seen a ton of drama going on with it on Twitter. You've probably also seen yours truly taking part in it, despite the fact that I usually try to stay out of furry drama. Let me just briefly weigh in on my feelings on the matter, and why I've been so vocal about it. For those of you who aren't sure of what's happened, the basic story (as I understand it - if I get a detail wrong, someone closer to the situation please correct me) is that Eurofurence - Europe's largest (I suspect formerly-largest, now) furry convention - put a set of rules in place that essentially prohibited babyfurs from showing any ageplay-related items in public con spaces. Banning diapers publicly, I can understand - I have no opinion on whether I agree with that policy or not, but I can understand it. However, innocuous items like pacifiers and pajamas were also banned. Basically, the only babyfur-related items allowed to be displayed in public con spaces are clean con badges (there were rumors that even these were also banned, but that is not actually the case - drama can make the facts difficult to sort out).
Now, to be clear, I find those rules completely asinine. Even so, since it is their con, they're allowed to set whatever rules they wish - that's where the "invisible hand" comes into play (competing cons like Confuzzled are, as I understand it, far more accepting and open). However, what is absolutely NOT okay is the staff's response to the drama, which culminated with one of EF's staff members literally telling one of EF's critics, "Go wrap a diaper around your head and suffocate yourself with it, you little self-absorbed dipshit. Do the world a favour." (His words, not mine.) That was said by one of Eurofurence's STAFF MEMBERS over twelve hours ago, and Eurofurence has been silent on the matter. A couple furs said they were reaching out "behind the scenes," but personally, I say that is not good enough. The offenses were committed in a very public manner, and they need a public response, and a public apology.
Now, why am I getting involved in this drama when I try my hardest to stay out of other drama? Simple: a large furry convention like Eurofurence has a responsibility to treat all of its attendees with respect. Berlin is known as one of the most welcoming, culturally-diverse cities in the world, and when Eurofurence pulls something like this over one or two bad experiences that a few of their staff members may have had in the past, they show themselves to be poor representatives of their host city and to the furry fandom in general. And as for why I personally have been involved, I am very much against any form of hate or bullying. I can be blunt and forthright, and people sometimes TAKE that as bullying, but you will never see me attack someone for his or her interests, body, or personality. Hate is never okay - whether it's hating someone over stereotypes, hating someone over what they do, or even self-hate. Hate is never okay in any form. And EF's staff is encouraging and participating in hate in a very public way. And I'm very disturbed and disappointed by their lack of response. Will this drama die down? Sure. But EF needs to be held accountable for their failure to control their staff. That pretty much sums up my feelings. OH. Except for one thing. For the love of all things fluffy and adorable, STOP calling it Cubgate. Not every drama episode needs "-gate" on it - and that makes it look dumb, when it's actually a pretty serious matter.
So, TL;DR:
1) Gonna take an experimental $20 regression commission from anyone interested (just one, maybe two).
2) I'm still open for commissions.
3) I'M GONNA BE BROKE PLEASE COMMISSION ME PLEEEEEASE D:
4) Eurofurence goofed and they should feel bad.
I think that covers it. We now return you to your regularly scheduled diaperbutt mayhem.

Also, I wouldn't mind trying out an age regression pic as well. :3
These people, few as they are, are nonetheless indicative of a major problem. It's not just these two, I guarantee it. More people in the staff think this way, or else there would have been some sort of reprimand given. The fact that they didn't say anything tells me that more people on their staff agree with them, but they are at least polite enough not to say anything inflammatory toward us. However, it certainly casts a bad light on them for allowing their deviant staff members to say what they did in the first place.
In any case, I might be interested in a non-pony commission. Let me think about what exactly I want, and I'll see if I can afford your prices.
And I still have room for another commission or two, certainly. If you want to know my prices, just go to my commission information to see my offerings and prices, and feel free to note me. I look forward to hearing from you :)
