EVERYONE likes donating instead of patreon. think about it, if yoru watching a hundred artists, at $5 each, and the only way to get half their stuff is through patreon, well, i cant speak for most, but that would be a whole paycheck a month for me. I really do wish more artists would still hold raffles and such on fa, instead of strictly moving 90% of their stuff to patreon.

sorry for the burst there, but its one thing that agitates me. now on a better paw, i think we all need more info on this tip jar thing your offering :P is it strictly an open tip jar offer, or are you plannign to do something like a growth or transformation sequence in response to it? I think it would be really interesting, as i havent seen anyone try doing a writing tip jar before! just need, what, two to four characters to start things off? idk, either way you proceed, still loving your writings hun, keep up the good work *hugs*

Yeah. I made the decision to not put anything on Patreon behind a paywall. I want as much of my stuff to be free to read as possible, but the extra money does make life easier. I understand why so many people do it. A lot of artists here can conceivably make a living wage off of patreon.

As for the tip jar. At the moment it's just an option for people who want to donate. I have had some people suggest doing a growth/TF drive, but I dunno how I would go about setting that up. It's not as easy to show small, incremental growth in text format as it is via pictures - not without being too technical and hella redundant, I mean. Maybe I could do a series of a couple characters and the donors could change the dynamic. Like shrink dude a. Grow dude b. Stuff like that, but that has potential to make the workload far outstrip the money gained from it. I don't have near the reader base to expect a large return on stuff like that.

hehe, like hell you dont :P 700+ watchers, and more pageviews than i woul dever have, even if i did get back to writing regularly :P though i will agree with the redundant aspect of it. it would need to be like a pre-planned thing... like weight gain for example, have it be a 'one day' thing, where each story is a different meal in the day. for size growth...yeah, too many options for catalysts there, from tech to magic to random And i can agree with the work vs pay concept, but part of making art is supposed to be because you enjoy it, regardless of being paid or not :P i mean, aye money is good, ubt going through someones gallery, theres always a slightly different feel between art they did for others on commission, and art they did for themselves because they wanted to. idk, might just be my quirkiness in it.
