Hobbies: Spending time with Jain and his brothers, reading books, video games, exercising at the gym, tabletop games, history, Krav Maga, Sci-fi and Fantasy novels, hiking over some of the weekends, growing grapes and making wine.

Bio: Ahriman was born the eldest child of Tyberius Sortarus-Harken (a Lord of Britannia and belonging to one of the nine founding Houses) and Aida Harken (a former school teacher who immigrated from Iran). Ahri spent most of his childhood, along with his brothers (Amon and Sobek), in the UK, but spent the rest of his life in the US after his father established an American branch of his business there. Notably, when he was 18, he befriended a wolf named Logan Sarikblod in college. Which surprised most of his family since the Harken's had a hatred for wolves (even having an ancestral sword known as "Bane of Wolves").

He managed to finish college at the age of 20, but tragedy struck 3 months afterwards when both his parents died in a plane crash during a business trip. Ahri and his brothers were then visited by their uncle Maximus (Tyberius' younger brother), and were told that they would inherit 40 million dollars each, but Ahri was also offered the American branch of his father’s business. To his uncle’s surprise, Ahriman declined, stating that he wanted to forge his own path in life, rather than the one he was expected to take. His uncle was initially angered by his refusal, but eventually accepted his nephew’s decision. Maximus took to running both branches of the business, whilst the brothers parted ways.

Ahriman bought a large house in the countryside, and started work as a history professor for a local college (admitting that history was his favourite subject), and as a part time tutor for hire. Despite the fact that he had been given a fortune that would have made him financially secured for the rest of his life, he took a job anyway because he didn't want to laze around til the end of his days.

During the same year, he had reunited with his friend Logan, who had brought with him his wife Helena and their 2 year daughter, Valkairis. Logan explained that Val was born illegitimately, due to Logan impregnating Helena during the end of his high school. Logan then married Helena, both out of love and responsibility. But their actions caused both their parents to disown them, and left them with little to support themselves. Logan explained to Ahri that they had fallen into hard times, and asked Ahri for help. Ahriman gladly took them under his roof. After a while, Ahriman gave 100,000 of his inheritance to the couple so they could buy themselves their own home. Logan was forever grateful, and promised that he would repay his friend for his kindness.

Ahri spent most of his most his years getting together with Logan's family, and became very close with Val. However, a war broke out 8 years later, and an attack within the country cost the life of Logan’s wife Helena. Logan was consumed with grief, and entered the army so as to be sent to the battlefields for "retribution". Ahriman accompanied him in order to protect his friend, and sent Val to live with his brother Sobek. For five years, they fought a bloody war, and had seen the horrors that came with it. During the final days of the war, Logan sacrificed his life saving Ahriman from a bullet meant for him. And as his friend lay dying, Ahriman promised to take care of his daughter.

When Ahriman returned to the US, he took Val to live with him as his ward. He found raising her to be quite a challenge since she displayed a somewhat rebellious and troublesome behaviour, especially during her high-school and on-going college life. But they nonetheless got along very well most of the time. Though their relationship took a huge turn one night during Val's 21'st birthday. Whilst they were eating at a restaurant in celebration (held in a private room), Val shockingly confessed her attraction to him, even going so far as to passionately kissing him. Naturally Ahriman was terrified by this, since his best friend’s daughter confessed that she was in love with him. He, a Bull of 40 years and who had acted as her godfather throughout most of her life.

For a few months, Ahri and Val spoke less to each other after that night, and occasionally arguing over how their relationship should go as: as either guardian and ward, or as lovers. Val was most fierce in their arguments, telling Ahri that she truly loved him, and her love wasn’t purely out of lust. However, in time, Val finally managed to convince Ahriman to become her lover, after convincing him that she did truly love him and not out of lust.

Afterwards, they continued on with their lives “almost” normally. With Ahri continuing his teaching and supporting Val, whilst the latter continuing her college life, though as lovers. “Almost” in that Ahri discovered to his displeasure that Val was a “bit” of a nymphomaniac, enjoying frequent sexual activities with him and with other partners (both male and female). Though to Ahri’s relief, Val loved him first of all (for reals). And to “his” utter displeasure, he found himself going along with the same behaviour, albeit more reluctantly than the more enthusiastic Val (since he was taught by his parents to be faithful to his mate).
