The old suit certainly had a good run, I'd say. Here's to the Mk. 2!

The head is actually still in fair condition, and I may have it refurbished and refurred to match the new bodysuit, but the old bodysuit was worn out at the knees and there were bare patches where the fur had completely worn away.

Still, it was a good suit!

Honestly, if you're able to refurbish the head and keep it looking about the same, most people will never notice that you've replaced the body. And even if you have to replace it, you wouldn't be the first and I know a couple of suiters who have had to replace their entire suits and have had little difficulty coming across as the same character as before.

Regardless, I've enjoyed my couple of encounters with Travis and hope to have more. Will you be at MFF this year?

If I do refurbish the head, it will look somewhat different. I can no longer find more of the original dark brown fur for the bodysuit. The new bodysuit is also brown,but a different shade and the chest patch is also a lighter color. So the original head would have to match before I wore it again with this new bodysuit. The new head is quite different from the original one, tough it of course still had those distinctive pine marten facial markings.

Oh noze! I'll miss that old suit....

Aww, that's too bad. I like that suit, but I can understand retiring it after nine years of use. At least this way it can be retired with dignity instead of getting torn/ruined while being worn simply because it got too old and was so well loved.

What a shame, and after you were spoken of so highly by a local friend, one  bodker who admires martens such as yourself, not to mention a really cute n' sexy girly femboi type, too. Love those sexy outfits you wore with the suit. Wish this one could meet you before suit retirement. Still, what are your feelings about getting a new replacement suit? :)

I am very pleased with how this new fursuit turned out and will be wearing the same outfits with it as well. I'm quite sure both you and Bodker will love it too. What's nice also is that I'll be able to go out in fursuit without any outfits at all too. I could no longer do that with the old fursuit as I needed clothing to hide some of the uglier bare spots where the fur had worn away completely.
