1) Who’s Ohmuu?

Well that’s me. I am the Ohmuu. THE OHMUU IS ME. Pft.

I’m just someone that draws things that interest me. I range to drawing both sfw and nsfw things. But I mostly love to draw cute stuff. I live for the cute!

I'm usually quiet and shy. But I will be able to talk normally about certain subjects as long as its not my personal life. I get easily stressed out and paranoid about things. I'm not much about making friends unless it just happens? I don't like those that just ask for it when we first talk. I'm not really here to make friends. It's cool if it does happen but if your pushing it I'm going to ignore you.

Anyway my art interest is usually video games/anime/cartoon related since I love that stuff. I have a wide range of video games I like to play. Seriously all kinds. Adventures, FPS's, Puzzle, Rpg's, etc.

2) How did you choose/come up with that username?

Before coming here I wanted to start new/fresh both here and on Deviantart a new name. A name that popped up in my head was Ohmuu.

The name Ohmuu can be two things on which why I chose it.

-If you guys have ever watched Nausicaa: Valley of the wind there's a giant bug creature called the Ohmu. I just added another “u” at the end.

-Another reason there’s a definition of the word ohmu in the urban dictionary. "A term to describe an awkward or uncomfortable situation, usually because of suggestive wording.“

So now you guys know how I came up with my username. It kinda expresses me.

3) What type of tablet do you use? What art program do you use?

I use an Wacom Intuos 5 tablet. It has the touch function but I never really use it so I just turn that part off. It’s a nice tablet. An annoying thing that I have seen with intouses though its that their usb port/cable screws up over time.

For the art program I use sai mostly for inking and coloring. I also use Manga Studio 5 for comic works.

4) Do you do Commissions?

Why yes I do. I only do digital commissions. Know that I take commissions mostly here on Furaffinity. I am also know to take them on Deviantart and Weasyl too under the same name. I could also take them on my tumblr blog thing but the message system there isn't so great.

I announce when I am open for commissions through a journal. Also on my profile page under COMMISSIONS it will say if I am open or not.

5) Do you take requests?

VERY RARELY.
ONLY when I announce I'm taking requests. I'm thinking of making occasional requests streams so I can at least keep practicing drawing when I have nothing else to do. The rules should be over there now.

but know anything detailed or being specific with anything of wanting one will be considered commission level.

6) Do you do trades?

Very rarely.
I'm really picky. I'm really only looking to draw humans/kemonomimi's. Our quality has to be the same level/close. In mostly not shitting out a 5 minute drawing.

7) What are your brush settings?

8) How come you don't post more pages of [HER NAME] more often?

Sorry but this is a commission someone is paying for. Where each page that gets paid gets posted up. It's not all paid at once. The sketches are done but if you guys have been in my stream you would see I still need to work on inking/coloring/shading them. Also other things:

Also note that comics costs differently from regular commission. Comics take more time too. The commissioner and me agree on when we put out a page. We both have to make sure if we are available to finish a page or be able to afford it too. Since, you know, they have to be able to pay rent and foods and stuff. Also sometimes unforeseen events happen and we have no control over it that will keep us from finishing page.

I get that you guys get excited for the next page but be patient. Be patient like everyone else. I can't throw these out like a machine. Guess what? I'm not a machine. I'm not gonna rush and do a crap job on them either. I like to put quality into my works too. Specially when it's a commission. Someone IS paying for them.

Also don't be rude and complain or keep asking/pestering me AND the commissioner about when's the next page out. Specially on a comic that gets 1 page out weekly? That's actually normal amount of time when webcomics like these go out. Even if it didn't come out in a week maybe we were busy.

Please just be patient.

9) Can we draw you gift art? Can we draw your Oc's

Really I'm not too comfortable about it but I do know ppl like my stuffs/oc's and would like to draw fanart for me or about it. I'm fine about it as long as it's kept Safe For Work. All clean. No porn of it.

Pfff I know, even though I draw nsfw all the time. I just rarely show my own personal oc's in nsfw situations as I am a bit more conscious about it.

Another thing on why I don't like people gifting me art is I had many cases where people would gift me art and then make me think I owe them something in return and are REALLY aggressive about it. It's just really awkward and has happened.

10) Will you be making anymore comics in the future?

Why yes I will. I mostly want to get started on my own personal comics after "Her Name" is done. My own ORIGINAL comics but I am hoping they get funded for me to actually make them. Thinking about patreon.

I'm still willing to take on commissioned comics but I will only take one comic at a time. Don't want to overwhelm myself.

11) Do you plan to make more comics with the Shinx and Growlithe?

Nope! It's completely done now. Me and Pathwarden felt it's all nice and sweet and doesn't need to be dragged on. And really the whole comics were about how this couple came to be. No need to go into behind the scenes.

Anything from what we currently have we would probably just make a small image occationally. Or a small funny scenes with the two. No promises though!

12) Where do you stream?

I usually announce when I stream through journals. They are mostly just me working on commissions. I rarely just draw for myself cause, ha, I'm shy to draw my own personal works in front of others.

13) Why do you put that weird [C] or [P] in the titles of the drawings?

It's to categorize the drawings. [C] Means it's a commission drawing. [P] means this is a personal drawing. And all those other stuff. It's just to make things neater I guess.

15) Can I post your artworks elsewhere even if I link back to the source?

If you are the commissioner themselves who paid for that said commission then sure. Other than that no. I prefer my works are within where I myself posted.

I understand that if it gets posted elsewhere I will get noticed more. But I never really see this happening/going well. I'm fine with my works not spreading everywhere. I'll branch out there myself knowing I can handle that area if I know I can. It's hard to manage things if it gets too big you know?

I will occasionally see my works being posted elsewhere with the source back to me and I will be fine with it. As long as it's not a shady site and that person isn't claiming it as their own.

16) Why is your stuff removed from E621?

I didn't like people posting up my works there that wasn't me in the first place. Specially without my permission when I found out. I have a journal HERE explaining about it.
But after reading most of the comments here it just further shows people only cared about my artworks being there only. Instead of caring about going to the source at all. People made it out as if THAT'S the only way to find my work which is funny.

Seriously even if my stuff was removed there you can still find me on the other linked websites. Or even google. Google is a search engine after all. It's not the end of the world. If you guys really care about seeing my artwork you can always find the main gallery or the other galleries I have. Even tumblr. But tumblr doesn't have much. [Sorry about that since there was a thing going on in tumblr of people taking down nsfw blogs. It got me nervous and tumblr, as you have seen lately, hasn't been very good to people.]

In the end my big reason is I don't want my artworks being posted there. I ended up having to ask the admins/moderators if I can remove my reason of why I am on the dnp list in E61. As I saw, because of the posted reasons people chose to harass me and say I have no right to my artworks. Say I am an idiot and it will get me more people. Sadly just proved the issues I had with that site to be true. I've mostly just been getting people who are pretty rude since they been posted up there.

This topic is pretty much closed for me. If you choose to keep pestering about it, I will just ignore you or block you. If you choose to go into the comic pages and comment "Why is this removed from E6?" or "Why are your stuff removed from there?" I will just hide the comments. It's a bit rude to just flat out ask on the pages of the comics about this. Also when you look on the dnp list and the reason is hidden? There's a reason and you shouldn't ask about it.


ADDED EXTRA:
Another issue. This is something to add is that I had a lot of bashing going on at me even when the works were posted before I issued the take down. So many rude comments. So much lost info that went with the artworks. I would try to comment in saying certain things to help the readers understand without spoiling things. I really do like to see what people have to say about the artworks I post out. Comment and talk with others too in case they misinterpret things but it's just too much to manage when there's too many people. I don't get notified. Descriptions do not get re posted with the artworks. It's seriously bad to try to monitor anything on that site. I get that site is good because of the tags but not the people within it are.

It's really an eye opener when people choose to bash you and say your reasons are shit. I do hope that people understand it's possible to bully someone out of a site. When people have a bad mindset of things and push you and try to shove it down your throat THEY DO END UP LEAVING.

It's sad that there was a forum over on E621 and I was reading everyone's comments there and I saw some valid points. I was having second thoughts of at least letting commissioners have the option to post up what they paid for. But WOW. How it went just solidified the DNP is gonna stay. So many of my reasons were proven true of the issues. So much NOT OKAY happened.

It sadly left a impression on me that people from e621 are assholes. I know not all of them are but a huge amount of them overwhelms the nicer ones. I thank those who did try to help and who understood where I was coming from. You guys are super nice. It lifted my spirits on these bad times that happened. makes me wanna keep going and keep on drawing. Man, I will always remember those witty and hilarious comments I have seen.

So sorry it's come down to this but things happen that lead to things where an artist doesn't feel welcomed/okay at certain places.

17) Why don't you/we post your art elsewhere? You'll get noticed/popular faster.
I actually prefer to stick to the community and site I am at. I get that if I go or let my works be posted elsewhere I get noticed more. I'm not really all about that. I'm not about getting popular either. I just wanna be at the sites I am at. Draw for people that like my works that wanna commission me.

It doesn't work well when people assume the one uploading is me over on the other sites [It has happened]. And people can be taken advantage of soooo easily too. As I have said above people tend to not go to the source and miss my information and stuff.

If I do decide to branch out into another site it must be when I am comfortable enough with it and can manage being there.

20) Would you accept Critique/Constructive Criticism on your works?

I would accept it but not mostly on commissions. Since I do get told to make specifics to the commissioners and I'm mostly trying to make them happy with the works.

With my own personal works, sure.
Just know if it's on any old drawing from like a year ago I may not. As I might eventually do a redraw on it. I know if it's something recent and I didn't realize a mistake I would go back and fix it.

But if it's anything involving personal preferences or saying it could be better but not really saying on why I ain't taking it.
