But the offer still stands: when the art arrives, take a snapshot of it and the packaging and I'll front you the address you can forward the horrid, horrid artwork.

When... hell, I'll even give you the benefit of the doubt, IF the picture arrives, you take a photo of the following things: the art, the packaging and the address labels (addresses obscured, of course) and I'll give you and address to where you can dispose of the picture. Slide the art back into the package, mail it to me and not only will I reimburse you $5 for the shipping but you'll also erase some of the skeeze stigma that has come back from ancient history to bite you in the ass.

This is sadly the biggest flaw that PayPal has.. Tons of protection for the buyer, but none at all for the seller.. Or rather, incredibly long, tedious, and troublesome for the seller, I should add, as you -can- get them to investigate, but in cases like these, it's hard to really do anything.

One thing I find incredibly interesting in this case, however, from what I've read so far is, that initially the complaint was about Fluffball posting the image on-line, but in relation to getting his money back, it would seem that it has been changed to be about the merchandise not being delivered.. Dunno if I've just missed something here, though?

No, you would be most correct. At first he wanted a refund because it was no longer "private," yet when he filed his claim with paypal, it was that it hadn't arrived yet even though Fluffball shipped it out the day before. Now Hirtes is clinging to the claim that he believes Fluff never sent it and never will send it. And nobody's buying that steaming load of horse crap.

It's situations like these that makes me fear for humanity as a whole, y'know? *eyerolls* I'll see if I can't find some money I can donate to this worthy cause, since Fluffball is an amazing artists, and quite frankly doesn't deserve this shit.. At all..

That is why most of us are donating. Because she really didn't deserve this. The rest are trying to make Mikey's head explode with apoplectic rage. Both are good and worthy causes, if you ask me.

To be perfectly honest, though, I don't think you're going to have any luck enraging this guy.. I mean.. First of all, if he really -is- a troll, and I'm not saying he is (even though there's quite a bit of evidence of it, it's not a term I like to just throw around), then he'll really just enjoy watching all this drama.. And second, like he has already said quite a few times already, he has his money, why should he care if we support Fluffball in all this?

Nah, I'm doing it solely for Fluffball. Not to piss anyone off, but simply to support an artist I enjoy watching. I've done it for other artists, so why not?

Also, I must admit that a few of the things I've read so far have kinda sickened me.. The messages that borders on being death threats, but without actually be worded as such (possibly to avoid breaking the law).. Those I do not approve of, but then again.. That could just be me. *chuckles* ^^

He's been a troll on newsgroups and other venues disparaging artists, all while trying to get commissions from the very same people. He'll try anything to get free art, or weasel cheap commissions out of artists.
