Composer for semi-hire
I really
really
really want to get back into music. I know there's no well-paying job here on FA, and I'm not expecting that. But seriously, if there are any programmers/gamers/whatever out there that need a composer for a video game or some project (MIDI format only unless you have access to musicians for it), hit me up. We can discuss whatever you like with it. Any and all details. I won't even put negotiations on here.
I've hit a depression rut lately, quit my job (luckily I moved back home after grad school, so no major bills yet, but I'd really like to get back out on my own), and just hit that "I have nearly two degrees (still one last step for my Masters) in music and am working retail/warehouse bullshit while thousands and thousands in debt from school. This is fine." Truth be told, I haven't even written a note since my thesis a year and a half ago based on Dante's "Inferno" in which I wrote a piano suite based on the work. I dunno, it just sucks knowing I'm writing stuff that will just end up another digital file on my laptop. (I also lost a majority of my works anyway in an unfortunate laptop accident. Needless to say, I now have an external hard drive.)
So take a listen to a few of the snippits I posted here, and maybe check out www.soundcloud.com/tk_valentine and if what you hear tickles your fancy, shoot me a note. Leave a nice note. Something :]
Thank you, all.
